| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | Ecovue Solutions | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019 Worley implemented Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable to address fragmented expense receipt processing and to introduce AP Automation between its cloud and on-premises ERP applications. The rollout focused on integrating Oracle Cloud ERP Accounts Payable with existing Fusion Expenses and on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite Accounts Payables to centralize document management and accelerate invoice creation from approved expense reports. The implementation combined Oracle Integration Cloud real time subscription events and Oracle Content Management Cloud as the centralized repository. Oracle Integration Cloud was configured to subscribe to the Approve Expense Receipt event in Fusion Expenses, orchestrate data flows into Open Interface tables or via on-prem APIs, and invoke OneVue Managed Attachments and OCM REST services to pull and push receipt attachments. The solution architecture included OneVue Managed Attachments user interface for document search and retrieval along with configuration of OIC ERP adapters to create the corresponding AP transactions in Oracle E-Business Suite. Integrations explicitly implemented included Fusion Expenses and Fusion UCM on the cloud side, Oracle Content Management Cloud as the content hub, Oracle Integration Cloud for real time orchestration, and on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite for invoicing and payments. This integration removed prior multiple document pull points and the need for an intermediary file server by centralizing attachments in Oracle Content Management and using REST services to move documents between Fusion UCM and OCM. The operational scope centered on Accounts Payable and expense processing workflows within Worley’s finance function. Governance and process changes were driven by the move from batch imports to event driven synchronization, establishing near real time synchronization of data and documents between cloud and on-prem applications. Ecovue Solutions led the implementation, replacing third party integrations with a standard Oracle stack and providing the OneVue extension to configure document types and retrieval workflows. The architecture was designed to be extensible for cloud to cloud and cloud to on-prem integration scenarios while consolidating a single repository for receipts, invoices and contracts. Customer reported outcomes that were part of the implementation narrative included faster and easier invoice creation from approved expense reports, elimination of manual data entry and reduced risk of errors according to Worley IT leadership. The project team cited a smooth integration experience and a typical rapid deployment window of six to eight weeks, and the design emphasized scalability and the ability to expand managed attachments to additional document types and applications. | |

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle Integration Cloud Service | API Management, iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) | PaaS | Ecovue Solutions | 2019 | 2019 | In 2019, Worley Rosenberg implemented Oracle Integration Cloud Service to enable near-real-time synchronization between Oracle Fusion Expenses and Oracle E-Business Suite Accounts Payables. The deployment targeted Accounts Payable and Expense Receipt Processing workflows and sought to centralize receipts and related documents into a single repository. Ecovue Solutions led the implementation and integration design. The initiative is aligned with the API Management,iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) category and used Oracle Integration Cloud Service as the event driven integration layer. Implementation components included real-time subscription events from Fusion Expenses to trigger pulls of transaction data, OIC-ERP adapters to populate Open Interface tables or call on-prem APIs in EBS, and Oracle Content Management Cloud as the centralized content repository. OneVue Managed Attachments and OneVue OCM REST services were configured to pull attachments from Fusion UCM and push them into OCM, and a OneVue user interface was provided for search and retrieval. Architecturally the solution established a hybrid cloud integration pattern connecting cloud ERP and on-prem ERP, replacing third-party file server based integrations with API driven, near-real-time flows. The integration scope explicitly included Oracle Fusion Expenses, Fusion UCM, Oracle E-Business Suite Accounts Payables, Oracle Integration Cloud Service, and Oracle Content Management Cloud, and it was designed to extend to other document types and ERP to ERP scenarios. The implementation removed the need for multiple document pull interfaces by centralizing document storage in OCM and surfacing documents through OneVue Managed Attachments. Governance and rollout were executed with Ecovue Solutions in a rapid six to eight week delivery window. Worley reported outcomes including easier and faster invoice creation from approved expense reports, elimination of manual data entry, reduced risk of errors, and a centralized single repository for receipts, invoices, and contracts. The deployment emphasized scalability and extensibility, leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud Service and OneVue to support additional applications and document types. |
