In 2020, WPP AUNZ implemented Q Research Software to support marketing strategy, brand tracking and segmentation across Australia and New Zealand, classifying the deployment under Analytics and BI. The implementation was led by WPP AUNZ Consulting and targeted client-facing research workflows used across the regional consulting practice.
Q Research Software was configured to enable advanced analytics capabilities including exploratory analysis workflows and latent class segmentation, together with operationalized brand tracking and segmentation pipelines. The implementation centered on in‑house analysis capabilities, enabling analysts to run segmentation models and iterative exploration without external vendors.
Operational scope covered marketing strategy, brand tracking and segmentation work performed by the consulting team across Australia and New Zealand, embedding Q Research Software into client project workflows. The deployment supported survey and tracking analysis use cases and centralized analytic procedures within the Consulting function.
Governance and process changes focused on bringing advanced analytics in-house and reducing reliance on outsourced analysis, which improved speed to insight for client work. The adoption positioned Q Research Software as the core Analytics and BI toolset for WPP AUNZ Consulting’s segmentation and brand measurement practices.
