In 2020, Daelim Industrial deployed AhnLab TrusGuard to provide VPN connectivity and centralized security management across its nationwide construction offices and sites. AhnLab TrusGuard was implemented as a Next-Generation Firewall to formalize remote access and endpoint control for field operations.
The deployment configured site-level TrusGuard appliances to terminate persistent VPN tunnels and to enforce firewall and access policies, while a centralized management console provided policy orchestration and configuration distribution. Implemented functional capabilities included device authentication, endpoint access control to prevent unauthorized endpoints, and consistent VPN and security policy distribution to remote offices.
Architecture and operational coverage used a centralized management plane operated by AhnLab with distributed enforcement at more than 100+ construction site offices in South Korea, ensuring uniform policy enforcement across sites. The rollout was executed by AhnLab as the implementation partner, covering device provisioning, configuration standardization, and template-based VPN policy rollout for IT and site operations.
Governance changes focused on standardizing access policy and device authentication workflows for IT and site teams, and the program was delivered in phased waves to manage configuration, training, and operational handover across construction sites.

In 2012 Daesang Corporation implemented AhnLab TrusGuard as part of an enterprise security baseline across the group, with AhnLab serving as the systems integrator. AhnLab TrusGuard, categorized as Next-Generation Firewall, was deployed alongside AhnLab V3, APC Policy Center, and TrusGuard DPX to establish a coordinated infrastructure security posture across the companys Korean operations.
The implementation configured AhnLab TrusGuard for core Next-Generation Firewall capabilities including stateful firewalling, application control, and intrusion prevention consistent with NGFW functional workflows. TrusGuard DPX was provisioned specifically to strengthen DDoS protection, while AhnLab V3 provided endpoint protection and APC Policy Center was configured as a centralized policy management and orchestration layer to harmonize rules and signatures across devices.
Integration work focused on operational interoperability between AhnLab TrusGuard, TrusGuard DPX, APC Policy Center, and AhnLab V3 to enable coordinated threat detection and policy distribution. The rollout targeted IT operations and information security functions within Daesang Group in South Korea, aligning network perimeter controls with endpoint defenses and policy governance processes.
Governance and compliance were explicit design drivers, the installation being part of a broader information security and compliance effort tied to ISO27001, ISMS, and PIMS. Centralized policy management through APC and the combined deployment of TrusGuard and DPX were used to institutionalize firewall rule lifecycle, incident response coordination, and DDoS mitigation as part of the groups security baseline.

In 2008 Kyonggi University implemented AhnLab TrusGuard as its Next-Generation Firewall to secure the campus network. AhnLab supplied TrusGuard UTM together with V3 endpoint protection and a centralized Policy Center to establish an integrated security environment across university networks.
The implementation configured AhnLab TrusGuard UTM with standard unified threat management capabilities aligned to Next-Generation Firewall expectations, and paired those controls with endpoint-level protection from V3. Configuration emphasis included per-building network segmentation and NAC-style access controls, with the Policy Center orchestrating policy push and quarantine actions between network and endpoint layers.
AhnLab acted as the implementation partner for deployment and integration, and the operational scope targeted campus networks including lecture halls and internal administrative networks. Governance centered on centralized policy management via the Policy Center and staged, building-by-building rollouts to enforce segmentation and to prevent malware spread across lecture halls and internal networks.
