Altima E-commerce was activated beginning in April 2011, with altima° assisting Club Med and Accenture listed as a vendor, delivering eCommerce capability improvements across Club Med’s global estate now available in 30 countries.
The initial work concentrated on booking engine conversion optimization and iterative front-end experiments, using a pragmatic, quick-activation approach to surface behavioral insights. Implementation activities centered on conversion-focused functional modules common to eCommerce platforms, including booking flow optimization, checkout instrumentation, and customer journey testing to inform a broader redesign.
Operational coverage targeted digital commerce and reservation functions across marketing and revenue management workflows, with the Altima E-commerce deployment scoped to the company’s online booking channels. The work was structured to run concurrently with an overall redesign program, enabling short-cycle tests and progressive refinement of booking workflows without waiting for the redesign to complete.

Extreme Endeavors implemented Altima E-commerce in 2019 to establish an online storefront and transactional platform. The deployment targeted the eCommerce category and centered on a web API architecture to support front end storefront functions and backend service integrations.
Altima E-commerce was built with an ASP.Net web API and ASP.Net web application layers, using HTML, CSS and JavaScript for the client side and MySQL for data persistence. Functional configuration work focused on product catalog and inventory endpoints, order management and checkout workflows, and API surfaces for customer and inventory operations consistent with eCommerce functional terminology.
Development and device integration work included embedded C code for IoT device firmware and circuit design for embedded systems created in Altium Designer, with device telemetry and control linked into Altima E-commerce through the platform API. Application testing and quality assurance for the ASP.Net web applications were performed under the supervision of senior software and senior electrical engineering staff, with engineering activity documented at the Philippi, WV site.
Accenture served as the vendor during the implementation, and governance emphasized supervised development, structured testing cycles and cross functional coordination between software and electrical engineering teams. The implementation narrative reflects a combined software hardware integration approach, aligning Altima E-commerce with both storefront and connected device operational needs.
