In 2019, Thor Group implemented AS-CRM as part of a coordinated application rollout by AS Software Group that included ERP FAS-5 and AS-SGA. The project began and went into production in 2019 at Thor Especialidades, targeting Castellgalí operations within the companys chemical business in Spain, and focused on improving order, stock reservation and transport management.
AS-CRM was configured to support sales order management workflows, while the combined deployment with ERP FAS-5 and AS-SGA enabled lot reservations and transport scheduling capabilities. Functional emphasis included sales order capture, lot level reservation and the generation of transport documentation for ADR classified products, aligning CRM-driven sales processes with inventory controls and warehouse execution.
The three applications were integrated to create an order to delivery orchestration across the Castellgalí site, linking AS-CRM sales order records to stock reservation processes and warehouse movements in AS-SGA, with ERP FAS-5 maintaining inventory and transactional records. This integration pattern supported transport scheduling and documentation flows required for regulated chemical shipments.
Governance and rollout were executed at the site level with AS Software Group leading the implementation and production cutover in 2019, and process standardization focused on reservation rules and transport documentation for ADR products. The go live yielded better stock control and streamlined transport documentation for ADR products as reported by the deployment notes.
