Hall & Woodhouse Ltd | Consumer Packaged Goods | 1500 | $200M | United Kingdom | Axiom EPM | Axiom EPM | EPM | 2017 | n/a |
In 2017 Hall & Woodhouse Ltd implemented Axiom EPM as its EPM platform to centralize budgeting, forecasting and management accounts across group divisions. The deployment positioned Axiom EPM as the primary planning and business modelling environment for finance, consolidating workflows that supported group level reporting and divisional management accounts.
Configuration emphasized core EPM capabilities, with Axiom EPM configured for budgeting and forecasting planning, consolidated management accounts, Group Vision business modelling and capital investment appraisals. Planning models were structured to support iterative forecast cycles and scenario-based business modelling consistent with EPM functional patterns, and configuration work focused on standardized chart of accounts mappings and version control for financial plans.
Integrations explicitly linked Axiom EPM to the Navision Dynamics ERP implementation and to a Business Intelligence development program using PowerBI, enabling transactional GL feeds into planning models and the publication of management reporting dashboards. Operational coverage included the central accounts function, divisional finance teams and the finance team lead who deputised for the finance director during an 18 month secondment in 2019 2020, ensuring continuity of governance and month end processes.
Governance and rollout formalized ownership of planning models within central finance, introduced controlled versioning and approval workflows for budgets and forecasts, and coordinated BI delivery between finance and analytics. The implementation narrative centers on Axiom EPM driving standardized planning, capital appraisal workflows and management reporting across the finance organization, aligned with the companys Navision Dynamics ERP and PowerBI reporting stack.

Simplot Australia | Consumer Packaged Goods | 2000 | $1.0B | Australia | Axiom EPM | Axiom EPM | EPM | 2019 | n/a |
In 2019, Simplot Australia implemented Axiom EPM to replace its old budgeting, forecasting and reporting tool and to secure an extensible platform for future functionality. Axiom EPM, categorized as EPM, was selected to centralize planning and reporting workflows across the organization.
The deployment was configured to support core budgeting, forecasting and reporting workflows and was extended to host a 48 month rolling Contribution Forecasting model. The Contribution Forecasting model consolidated calculations and scenario logic that previously lived across two different ERP systems, multiple Excel spreadsheets, manual processes and an Access database. This extension leveraged Axiom EPM capabilities for configurable calculation logic, version control and rolling period forecasts.
Integrations consolidated data feeds from the two ERP systems and replaced numerous spreadsheet driven workstreams, bringing data ingestion, calculation and reporting into Axiom EPM. Operational scope focused on finance and planning functions within Simplot Australia, where Axiom EPM now supports myriad functions beyond the original budgeting and reporting use cases.
Governance shifted from decentralized spreadsheet and Access database ownership to a centralized EPM application model, enabling structured configuration and controlled calculation logic. The Contribution Forecasting functionality added onto their existing solution turned out to be larger than the original functions, demonstrating that the extensible Axiom EPM implementation scaled beyond the initial planning use case.
