Operational ownership sat with HR and site management, with the HR department running a familiarisation programme for all 320 employees to drive adoption and teach the new clocking in and out process. The Time & Attendance capability was aligned with an updated fire evacuation process so site managers could know who was on premises at any point in time, extending the system s operational role beyond pay and leave administration into health and safety accountability. Deployment activities reportedly went smoothly and AAF UK was soon up and running, with Johnston noting that from the moment the Civica solutions were installed it was business as usual. The implementation delivered full visibility of time and attendance records, increased transparency for managers and supervisors, and gave employees control over their own HR information through the Civica self service portal.
