Synthos | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 3600 | $500M | Poland | Fintiera | Fintier Payment Grids | Payment Processing | 2023 | n/a |
In 2023, Synthos Group implemented the Fintiera Bank Statement Cockpit as a Payment Processing capability to centralize bank statement handling for finance and treasury in Poland. The deployment was positioned to replace and extend SAP bank statement handling and to provide a single reconciliation cockpit that standardizes posting preparation and archival workflows directly within SAP S/4HANA.
The Fintiera Bank Statement Cockpit implementation included configuration of bank statement import, automated reconciliation logic, posting optimization rules, and data archiving modules. Configuration emphasized rule-based matching and posting proposals so corporate accounting teams could review and finalize postings inside the cockpit rather than through disparate manual spreadsheets.
Operationally the solution was integrated with SAP S/4HANA for direct posting and ledger updates, and it was scoped to corporate accounting and treasury functions in Synthos Group Poland. The architecture placed the cockpit as a front-end reconciliation and correction layer that writes optimized postings back into SAP S/4HANA and retains statement archives for auditability.
Governance changes accompanied the rollout, with standardized reconciliation workflows and a centralized review process for posting approvals instituted for accounting teams. The implementation improved bank statement reconciliation efficiency and strengthened data archiving for corporate accounting, as reported by Synthos Group.
