Airport International Group | Transportation | 1500 | $850M | Jordan | Fortinet | FortiSIEM | Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) | 2019 | n/a |
In 2019 Airport International Group implemented FortiSIEM for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM). The deployment centralized security monitoring for AIG's aviation IT environment in Jordan and established FortiSIEM as the primary event management and detection layer for the organization. The implementation was positioned alongside Fortinet security technologies to create a consolidated security operations footprint.
FortiSIEM was configured to provide automated threat detection, event correlation, log management, and analysis workflows consistent with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capabilities. The solution was implemented in concert with Fortinet modules including FortiGate, FortiWeb, FortiMail, FortiClient, and FortiAnalyzer, creating a unified telemetry and policy enforcement topology. Configuration focused on automated detection and prevention use cases and on consolidating telemetry for security operations center workflows.
Integrations tied FortiSIEM to FortiGate, FortiWeb, FortiMail, FortiClient, and FortiAnalyzer to aggregate logs, alerts, and device telemetry, enabling centralized incident detection and investigation across IT operations and security teams. Operational coverage emphasized security operations and IT support functions within AIG, with the SIEM acting as the single management tool for cross-system visibility and alerting. The implementation supported long term IT planning by improving centralized visibility into security events and infrastructure state.
Governance and operational processes were simplified through a unified provisioning and support model, streamlining service onboarding and incident handling. Airport International Group reported strengthened internet security defenses, simplified provisioning of services and support with an integrated solution, and improved visibility into long-term IT strategy planning, and IT Director Waseem Al Rusan stated, "Automated threat detection analysis and prevention using a single management tool gives us world-class cybersecurity capabilities."

Alleima | Manufacturing | 6800 | $2.2B | Sweden | Fortinet | FortiSIEM | Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) | 2025 | n/a |
In 2025, Alleima deployed FortiSIEM as a SaaS Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution within a newly built Fortinet Security Fabric to consolidate visibility and meet global compliance requirements. The program supported a global manufacturing footprint of 52 locations and roughly 100,000 endpoints, managed by a small central network and security team of four full time staff supported by contractors, and was initiated to provide a single pane of glass for monitoring and incident response across regional networks.
The technical architecture pairs FortiSIEM with FortiGate next generation firewalls deployed in high availability stacks at site perimeters, Fortinet Secure SD-WAN hubs performing SSL inspection and IPS functions, FortiSwitch and FortiAP for LAN and wireless, FortiManager for centralized provisioning, and FortiAnalyzer for analytics and reporting. Endpoint and identity capabilities implemented include FortiClient Endpoint Management Server, FortiEDR, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiMail, with FortiClient EMS explicitly offloading logs into both FortiSIEM and FortiAnalyzer and FortiGate VDOMs used to enforce OT and office network segmentation.
Operational integrations center on FortiSIEM collecting telemetry from all Fortinet security data sources and ingesting FortiGuard Labs advisories, while the service-driven workflow routes critical alerts to an external SOC that co-ordinates incident response with Alleima’s internal team. FortiManager templates standardize client and site configurations, U.S. office locations operate FortiGate HA stacks that handle LAN segmentation and route traffic to SD-WAN FortiGates, and the Americas group is transitioning device management to FortiSwitch and FortiAP under the firewall management plane to provide end to end site visibility.
Governance and process changes emphasize uniform Fortinet user interfaces and template driven provisioning to minimize training and accelerate operations, with FortiAuthenticator tied into FortiManager to enforce consistent configuration templates and provisioning workflows. Reported operational outcomes grounded in the deployment include detection and investigator engagement within about a half hour versus previous multiweek delays, site launch time reduced to six hours from 24 hours, same day VLAN port reconfiguration instead of five to seven business days, and markedly faster remote site support and incident handling.
Alleima is continuing to expand the Fortinet Security Fabric and is evaluating additional fabric elements, with consideration of FortiNAC in 2025 and potential adoption of FortiMonitor to expose endpoint activity to non IT managers, while retaining FortiSIEM as the central SIEM capability for compliance monitoring and SOC integrated incident handling.

Avid Communication | Communications | 40 | $4M | United States | Fortinet | FortiSIEM | Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) | 2022 | n/a |
In 2022, Avid Communication deployed FortiSIEM as part of a Fortinet Security Fabric based managed security service offering, positioning FortiSIEM as the central Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capability to analyze customer event data in real time. The FortiSIEM implementation is explicitly tied to the company’s MSSP operations out of Kansas City, MO, supporting approximately 30 Secure SD WAN locations and protecting 650 endpoints across roughly 40 customer organizations while the company maintains a lean 40 person staff.
The deployment architecture combines FortiSIEM with FortiGate next generation firewalls, Fortinet Secure SD WAN, FortiManager, FortiEDR, FortiClient, FortiToken, and FortiCare support services. FortiSIEM is used to ingest and correlate telemetry from FortiGate NGFWs and endpoint sources, detect potential breaches and attacks, and provide event analytics, while FortiManager provides centralized configuration and template driven device provisioning for rapid customer on boarding.
Integrations were implemented with both native Fortinet components and third party customer systems as required, enabling use cases such as POS integrations and bespoke customer connectivity needs. Operational coverage explicitly includes managed security services for SMB customers, SD WAN enabled edges across customer sites, and endpoint protection via FortiEDR on 650 endpoints, with FortiClient and FortiToken delivering integrated endpoint visibility and two factor authentication for customers.
Governance and operational processes were adapted to exploit centralized management and automation, using configuration templates in FortiManager to reduce time to value and to standardize deployments. Avid Communication also institutionalized vendor aligned skill development through the Fortinet Network Security Expert program and relied on FortiCare support for technical escalation and troubleshooting, allowing the MSSP to keep headcount and pricing aligned with its business model.
Outcomes called out in the implementation include the ability to meet demand for high performing secure networks that support sales and customer retention, centralized management for rapid deployment to new customers, seamless integration across Fortinet and third party systems, and protection of 650 endpoints across around 40 organizations. FortiSIEM is described as a core component for real time event analysis within Avid Communication’s Fortinet first strategy, which includes plans to scale FortiGate customer acquisitions to 30 to 40 new customers per month.
