Allied Mortgage Group | Banking and Financial Services | 350 | $38M | United States | Gateless | Gateless AI Mortgage | Intelligent Document Processing | 2020 | n/a |
In 2020, Allied Mortgage Group implemented Gateless AI Mortgage to automate and scale its closing package document workflow. Gateless AI Mortgage was deployed as an Intelligent Document Processing solution to address highly manual, error prone closing and post closing document handling for the full service residential lender originating roughly one billion dollars a year.
The deployment used a front end scanning process where closing package documents are scanned to generate a PDF that is automatically placed onto a server and picked up by AI Mortgages, referred to as AIM. AIM locates the loan number on incoming documents, validates the loan record within Encompass, associates documents to the correct loan, indexes and classifies each document, and returns files to the appropriate eFolders in Encompass. The implementation includes automated document classification, indexing, optical character recognition driven data extraction, and rule based validation flows consistent with Intelligent Document Processing capabilities.
AIM also monitors Encompass for trailing documents and missing package items, processing, classifying, indexing and filing those documents back into the correct Encompass eFolders without manual intervention. The integration with Encompass is central to operational coverage, enabling continuous post closing intake, automated reconciliation of document packages, and a server based pickup and processing conduit between the scanning front end and the loan origination system. The scope of operation centers on closing and post closing functions, with direct impact on processing teams and document management workflows.
Outcomes reported by Allied are explicit and substantial, more than three thousand loans have been run through the system, classification and filing accuracy reached 99 percent, and one staffer can complete the document review process, excluding physical handling, for 30 to 35 loans in 30 minutes. Allied reduced manual effort dramatically, with a stated comparison of 650 to 700 hours of manual work reduced to 25 man hours, and the company reports annual post closing cost savings of one hundred twenty six thousand dollars. Kyle Manseau, SVP Operations at Allied Mortgage Group, described the change as materially positive for staffing and workflows, with processors redeployed to higher value responsibilities.

AmeriHome Mortgage Company | Banking and Financial Services | 1000 | $200M | United States | Gateless | Gateless AI Mortgage | Intelligent Document Processing | 2020 | n/a |
In 2020, AmeriHome Mortgage Company implemented Gateless AI Mortgage, an Intelligent Document Processing application deployed to support correspondent lending and back-office loan processing. The deployment placed cognitive document automation into production to assist loan application intake, processing, underwriting, closing, and secondary sale workflows across AmeriHome's correspondent lending operations.
The Gateless AI Mortgage implementation is configured with modular AI assistant capabilities, specifically Correspondent Package Verification and Correspondent Loan Data Verification AI Assistants. The rollout follows a Community Document Model training approach that requires document samples in different variants to teach the classifier, enabling robots to recognize trained document types and variants with cited 99 percent accuracy. Robots are pre-loaded with up to 100 business rules for loan defect screening and execute automated classification and data extraction from W-2s, tax forms, and paystubs, collectively automating more than 50 percent of manual document review tasks.
The solution remains integrated with the lender's loan origination system so loan processors and underwriters receive extraction and screening results directly in existing workflows. Governance and operationalization included staged CDM training and progressive expansion of document coverage as more customers used the model, with stated objectives to scale loan volume, reduce turnaround time, and lower internal costs. Allied Mortgage Group is noted as a parallel production user of document indexing and filing robots to accelerate origination processing and reduce human error.

Wyndham Capital Mortgage Partners | Banking and Financial Services | 650 | $190M | United States | Gateless | Gateless AI Mortgage | Intelligent Document Processing | 2020 | n/a |
In 2020, Wyndham Capital Mortgage implemented Gateless AI Mortgage as an Intelligent Document Processing solution to extend its automation footprint across loan origination and back office mortgage processing. The deployment was positioned within production operations to accelerate document-centric workflows and reduce manual intervention among operations employees, aligning with Wyndham’s ongoing automation strategy and continuous robotic process automation practices.
Gateless AI Mortgage was configured to provide core Intelligent Document Processing capabilities, including high-volume document ingestion, machine vision optical character recognition, automated document classification, data extraction and field-level validation, and cognitive robot orchestration to drive downstream decisioning. The implementation emphasized embedded mortgage domain rules and configurable extraction models to handle the variability and complexity of mortgage documentation.
Operationally the system was integrated into Wyndham’s loan processing workflows and back-office exception handling, operating alongside existing automation controls and RPA controllers to push processing deeper into loan lifecycle stages where document complexity previously limited automation. Deployment scope focused on loan origination and back-office servicing functions and was designed to interface with document repositories, workflow queues, and cognitive exception routing to support operational throughput.
Governance and rollout centered on extending Wyndham’s automation governance, with configuration controls, validation checkpoints and exception workflows to remove menial tasks from staff and tighten quality gates. Explicit outcomes cited in the deployment included improved scale on new loan volume, lower operational costs passed to consumers, increased processing speed and accuracy, and reduced loan defects, with the solution operating in production to support further expansion of cognitive automation capabilities.
