The Warehouse Insight implementation was integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP for synchronization of inventory, sales order, purchase order, and production transaction records, leveraging existing NAV customizations and SQL data objects. Integration also fed into Activar reporting and analytics stacks, including Jet reports and Reporting Services, to preserve consolidated KPI and operational reporting managed by the Business Systems & Applications Manager.

In 2018, Sign-Zone implemented Insight Works Warehouse Insight together with Business Central to standardize warehouse operations under the Warehouse Management category. The solution improved shop floor visibility, reduced scrap and rework, increased throughput, and enabled accurate per bin inventory and streamlined warehouse transactions in the United States.

In 2023, TDL Canada implemented Insight Works Warehouse Insight as part of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central deployment to modernize fulfillment across its Canadian distribution network. The implementation explicitly targeted Warehouse Management capabilities to standardize picking, receiving and shipping workflows and to centralize inventory and order processing under the ERP and mobile WMS layer.
The deployment combined Insight Works Warehouse Insight mobile WMS with the Dynamic Ship module to orchestrate mobile picking workflows, receiving processes and shipment execution. Configuration emphasized barcode-directed inventory control, task management and automated shipment generation consistent with Warehouse Management functional patterns, enabling scanner-driven cycle counts and directed putaway.
Integrations were built between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the Insight Works components to synchronize inventory, sales orders and shipment confirmations in near real time. Operational coverage spanned multiple Canadian distribution sites, unifying backend ERP order orchestration with on-the-floor mobile warehouse operations to reduce manual handoffs between systems.
The project was led by systems integrator Lidd & Cordray and executed with a rapid rollout cadence across distribution locations. The implementation quickly improved warehouse accuracy and scalability and helped triple December order throughput from approximately 6,100 to approximately 19,000 shipments by late 2024.
