In 2020, AMP deployed LawVu as a Contract Lifecycle Management solution. The deployment provisioned LawVu as a cloud based legal matter management system that went into production across AMP and reached more than 5,000 users, providing $2M yearly benefits to the organization.
The implementation focused on Contract Lifecycle Management capabilities, delivering a centralized contract repository and matter management, integrated authoring and redline workflows, approval routing and automated lifecycle state transitions, and enterprise reporting for legal and commercial teams. LawVu was configured to support matter intake, obligation tracking, version control, and configurable workflow automation consistent with enterprise CLM practices.
Architecturally the project used a SaaS cloud model and included an integration platform migration to connect LawVu with AMP systems for wealth management and digital banking, enabling matter and contract metadata flows across business systems. Standard API based integrations and event driven interfaces were implemented to surface contract status and matter data into business workflows and downstream systems.
Governance and rollout were managed by a centralized project team that standardized intake processes, role based access controls, approval SLAs and change control, aligning legal, compliance, commercial, wealth management and digital banking teams for AMP wide adoption.
