Danish Agro | Professional Services | 5200 | $8.5B | Denmark | Novicell | Novicell CMS | Web Content Management | 2009 | n/a |
In 2009 Danish Agro implemented Novicell CMS for Web Content Management. Novicell recommended Dynamicweb as the platform foundation so the solution could host multiple language layers and support the group's international subsidiaries within a single multi-site architecture.
Novicell CMS was configured with multi-language layers and a responsive design, with usability and intelligent information architecture prioritized to make information easy to find and to provide an overview of the entire Group. The implementation centralized sites in the same solution and included shared media and document capabilities so photos and documents could be used across subsidiaries.
As part of the rollout the corporate site and the Danish Agro Shop ecommerce experience received a redesigned, more user friendly interface. The web shop design added commerce-oriented capabilities that allow customers to see product availability, choose pickup in store, and view volume discount information to support local fulfillment options.
Operational scope covered both the Group’s agricultural trading business and the Danish Agro Shop retail network of 21 physical leisure stores, aligning marketing, product availability, and store pickup workflows. The architecture was provisioned to make it straightforward to include new subsidiaries into the company web setup and to manage content across the group.
Responsive design ensures users can access all websites from any device, and the integrated multi-site approach was used to strengthen sales in the interaction between online trading and the local Danish Agro Shops.

Puig UK | Retail | 165 | $100M | United Kingdom | Novicell | Novicell CMS | Web Content Management | 2018 | n/a |
In 2018 Puig UK implemented Novicell CMS, a Web Content Management application, to establish a structured email marketing strategy and to enable integration with a customer relationship management system. The family company engaged Novicell because until that point it had no formal email marketing strategy and sought to improve results from newsletter campaigns while better understanding subscribers.
Novicell CMS was configured to centralize web content and to create managed newsletter subscription flows, reusable email templates, and campaign landing pages. The Novicell CMS deployment captured consent and structured subscriber attributes at point of signup, and it housed content blocks and templates to standardize campaign creation and content reuse for marketing teams.
The project included integration of a CRM to synchronize newsletter subscribers and profile attributes from Novicell CMS into the CRM, enabling marketing to enrich subscriber data and support segmentation workflows. Operational coverage focused on Puig UK marketing operations, with the CMS acting as the content and subscription capture layer feeding downstream CRM-driven marketing operations.
Governance changes centered on shifting content ownership and campaign execution into the marketing function, formalizing procedures for consent capture, subscriber data handling, and newsletter segmentation within the CMS. The implementation positioned Novicell CMS as the primary Web Content Management platform for newsletter orchestration and subscriber lifecycle capture, while CRM integration was specified to improve visibility into subscribers for targeted marketing.
