The decision followed a protracted SAP rollout that proved slow and poorly integrated, and Abuba Steak moved to Odoo to centralize sales order processes and standardize front-line sales operations across its restaurant network.
The deployment used Odoo Sales alongside Odoo manufacturing, PoS, and accounting applications, delivered as a quickstart SaaS implementation completed in less than three months. Odoo Sales was configured to support sales order lifecycle workflows and to feed data into advanced BoMs and manufacturing routings, while the manufacturing app centralized configurations, work instructions, quality control, and maintenance planning.
Integrations implemented include a connection between Odoo Sales and the company PoS environment to process daily sales orders and provide reporting and forecasting, and accounting integrations to local banks for payment reconciliation and tax reporting exports. The platform was provisioned as a centrally managed SaaS environment covering front-line restaurant staff through back-office teams, extending usage to over eight hundred employees and spanning multiple restaurant sites.
Governance and rollout were coordinated by a Bahasa-speaking functional consultant who led localization efforts and user enablement to accelerate adoption and self-learning. The implementation standardized operations across sixteen Odoo applications, centralized data and reporting, simplified working instructions via advanced BoMs, and enabled streamlined reconciliation and exportable tax reporting through the Odoo accounting and Odoo Sales integration.

Operational scope covers sales, finance, service delivery, purchasing and HR functions within ACA Facilities operations in Luxembourg, enabling enhanced visibility of employee timesheets and integrated project invoicing.
