AmBank | Banking and Financial Services | 8200 | $1.1B | Malaysia | Oracle | Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance | Performance and Goal Management | 2019 | n/a | In 2019, AmBank implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance to strengthen its Performance and Goal Management capability within HR. The Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance deployment in Kuala Lumpur targeted structured goal setting, appraisal workflows and performance review processes across HR and talent management functions. Configuration work aligned Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance with core PeopleSoft HCM modules including Workforce Administration, Employee Self Service ESS, Manager Self Service MSS, Talent Acquisition Manager, Profile Management, Position Management and the Payroll Interface. The project used XML Publisher for custom reporting and supported HRMS production versions 9.0 through 9.2, with fit gap analysis performed during the PeopleSoft upgrade activity from 9.0 to 9.2. Operational integration connected ePerformance to Time and Labor and Absence management to provide contextual workforce data, and to payroll interfaces for downstream compensation workflows. Testing and release activities were managed using the PeopleSoft Testing Framework PTF for scripted test execution and HP ALM for test case management and live reporting, with involvement in component integration testing, system integration testing and user acceptance testing. Governance and delivery practices included preparation of business requirements and test plans, facilitation of PWG meetings and triage calls, creation of user profiles roles and permission lists and familiarity with security refresh processes. Agile delivery practices were applied, with Scrum master functions covering backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives, and ongoing helpdesk and production support for the ePerformance environment.

Deakin University | Education | 6197 | $980M | Australia | Oracle | Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance | Performance and Goal Management | 2019 | n/a | In 2019, Deakin University implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance as part of its multi-year DeakinPeople program, deploying a Performance and Goal Management capability to support manager employee performance and development conversations. The implementation accompanied a PeopleTools upgrade to 8.56 and subsequently 8.57 PUM 31 and the rollout of the Classic Plus style sheet to deliver a consistent, modern user interface across PeopleSoft pages and the new ePerformance screens. The deployment used Selective Adoption to configure and extend delivered PeopleSoft frameworks rather than heavy customisation, and included Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance plus adjacent Fluid self-service capabilities such as Fluid Direct Deposit, Fluid Leave Cancellation, mobile payslip, announcements tile, and export org chart for administrators. Core delivered frameworks were repurposed, notably Activity Guide and fluid WorkCentre frameworks, and Deakin implemented notification and alert frameworks, application engines for data integrity checks, a custom Staff Service Awards page, and live data on Fluid tiles such as cut-off dates and leave balances to improve visibility and interaction. Integrations and operational coverage were explicit and scoped to HR, payroll and manager self-service across the university, with reporting surfaced via Fluid tiles connected to IBM Cognos for compliance training and reporting. Deakin completed development in house while working in conjunction with partner Presence of IT to deploy Fluid self-service functionality and to accelerate the inclusion of Fluid Candidate Gateway into the project, delivering the candidate gateway eight weeks after its release. Governance and process transformation emphasized rapid selective adoption, a Get Me Current baseline to enable self-service transformation, and reuse of delivered frameworks to automate manual HR processes. Activity Guide based automation centralized contract expiry management replacing email and spreadsheets, provided end to end workflow visibility and system generated HTML communications, and enabled online employee acceptance. The Manager Reporting WorkCentre provided managers access to staff profile, leave balances, timesheets paid and training enrolments with filtering and export capabilities, increasing business ownership and reducing reliance on HR. Outcomes reported by Deakin were immediate adoption and positive user feedback, with the contract management process handling 195 fixed term employee renewal or non renewal actions in the first three weeks after go live, zero go live defects reported for recent changes, reduced processing times due to automated job and position updates, and improved access to information for managers and administrators.

University of Tasmania | Education | 2957 | $502M | Australia | Oracle | Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance | Performance and Goal Management | 2017 | n/a | In 2017 University of Tasmania implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance as a Phase 2 update to its cloud PeopleSoft HCM program, aligning the rollout with the institution's Performance and Goal Management needs. The deployment built on a cloud go live of PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 with 8.54 completed in 2016, and focused in 2017 on delivering PeopleSoft Update Image HCM 22 and PT8.55 feature sets for performance processes. The implementation of Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance included configuration and extension of Fluid user interface capabilities, casual timesheet improvements, casual recruiting solution enhancements, and selected payslip changes. Oracle PeopleSoft ePerformance was surfaced via Fluid tiles that provided quick access to cheat sheets and FAQs, and a reporting tile that connected users to HR and BI warehouse reports, enabling performance workflows and goal tracking through modernized UI components. Integrations and operational coverage centered on the broader PeopleSoft HCM suite, which in 2016 included HR, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management and Self Service, with ePerformance integrated into that ecosystem. In February 2018 adjustments to ePerformance templates refined how Academic and Professional positions are measured, and the university adopted a large number of features intended to support an organization of 7000 employees and multiple HR business functions. Governance and rollout emphasized a small project team completing a concentrated four month delivery of major features, with the program reported as delivered on budget and on time and customer satisfaction described as promising. Ongoing maintenance and upgrade discipline was specified, including two rounds of Selective Adoption per year and the adoption of automated testing via the PeopleSoft Test Framework, reflecting a commitment to keep the Performance and Goal Management capabilities current and aligned with standard functionality. |
