Jacuzzi De Mexico | Manufacturing | 29 | $2M | Mexico | Particle Industries | Particle IoT Platform | IoT Platform | 2018 | n/a |
In 2018, Jacuzzi De Mexico implemented the Particle IoT Platform to enable cellular connected smart hot tubs for the United States market. The project used Particle Studios engineering services and Particle's cellular E SoM to move from concept to market in six months and ship thousands of connected units.
The Particle IoT Platform implementation delivered core IoT Platform capabilities including secure cellular connectivity, device provisioning, telemetry ingestion, remote diagnostics, and preventative maintenance workflows. Device firmware management and over the air update workflows were integrated into the platform architecture to support ongoing remote monitoring and consumer feature delivery through a companion mobile application.
Operational integration centered on field service, product engineering, and customer support, with the consumer mobile app providing direct customer engagement and the platform backend enabling service triage. The deployment covered the United States footprint for Jacuzzi De Mexico and supported thousands of devices, aligning device telemetry and diagnostic streams with support and maintenance processes.
Governance and rollout were driven by Particle Studios and a compressed engineering schedule, enabling iterative firmware and hardware validation alongside cloud provisioning. The Particle IoT Platform implementation produced explicit outcomes reported by the customer including reduced service trips through remote monitoring and the enablement of new recurring revenue streams.

Telesense | Professional Services | 5 | $1M | United States | Particle Industries | Particle IoT Platform | IoT Platform | 2019 | n/a |
In 2019, TeleSense implemented the Particle IoT Platform as its IoT Platform to support cellular and device connectivity for grain monitoring sensors and analytics. The deployment focused on continuous environmental telemetry for stored commodities in the United States, capturing temperature, humidity and CO2 for remote monitoring.
TeleSense built cellular enabled and IoT enabled grain sensors integrated with the Particle IoT Platform to collect and forward telemetry to cloud analytics and alerting services, leveraging device provisioning, secure connectivity and over the air firmware management consistent with IoT Platform capabilities. Functional capabilities implemented included continuous sensor telemetry ingestion, event based alerting for threshold breaches, and analytics pipelines used to surface spoilage risk indicators. The Particle IoT Platform provided the device management and connectivity layer supporting sensor fleet orchestration and remote diagnostics.
Operational coverage emphasized stored commodity sites across the United States and impacted operational monitoring, supply chain handling and asset management functions within TeleSense customer workflows. Particle's agriculture case references TeleSense and TeleSense product announcements date to 2019, therefore implementation start and live dates are estimated from those public materials. Public materials document outcomes of remote alerts and reduced spoilage for stored commodities as a result of continuous temperature, humidity and CO2 monitoring implemented on the Particle IoT Platform.

Watsco | Distribution | 7360 | $7.3B | United States | Particle Industries | Particle IoT Platform | IoT Platform | 2018 | n/a |
In 2018 Watsco built its Sentree HVAC monitoring product on the Particle IoT Platform as an IoT Platform-based service to deliver 24/7 diagnostics and preventative-maintenance alerts for contractors and system owners across the United States. The implementation positioned Particle IoT Platform to handle device connectivity and continuous telemetry for residential and commercial A/C systems, enabling remote issue detection and orchestration of field interventions.
Sentree leverages the Particle IoT Platform for standard IoT Platform capabilities including device provisioning and lifecycle management, secure connectivity and telemetry ingestion, cloud-side diagnostics and alerting workflows, and notification routing to service contractors. The configuration emphasized continuous condition monitoring and automated preventative-maintenance alerts to reduce unnecessary truck rolls and accelerate fault isolation.
Deployment began with a product beta in 2018 and expanded to a broader commercial launch in early 2019, covering installations across the United States and focusing operational impact on field service and maintenance functions. Particle materials report that in the first 16 months after launch Sentree connected over 2,000 A/C systems, collected approximately 600 million data samples and identified roughly 500 issues, illustrating the platform level telemetry volume and operational detection capability realized through the Particle IoT Platform as an IoT Platform for Watsco service operations.
