Deepak Group | Manufacturing | 1694 | $956M | India | Pelco, a Motorola Solutions Company | Pelco VideoXpert | Video Surveillance System | 2015 | n/a |
In 2015 Deepak Group deployed Pelco VideoXpert Video Surveillance System across its manufacturing operations. Deployment activity was executed by a Site Engineer and facility management third party, with project work documented between August 2014 and February 2015 during camera installation and server provisioning.
Pelco VideoXpert was configured to provide centralized video management, camera discovery and configuration, continuous recording, live monitoring and playback, and role based user access controls consistent with a Video Surveillance System. The implementation placed VideoXpert server components on the site production server infrastructure and coordinated recording storage and file server sharing as part of the configuration.
The installation integrated directly with Pelco IP cameras of wireless Pelco make and relied on the existing networking infrastructure, including wireless and fiber optic links, for camera telemetry and video streams. Authentication and user provisioning for Pelco VideoXpert were managed through Active Directory, with domain user ID creation, organizational unit management and password administration handled by the on site IT team. Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager administration and antivirus policies were maintained across six Deepak Nitrite Ltd sites during the same operational window.
Operational governance remained with the Site Engineer in charge and the FMS third party, who provided ongoing technical support, production server maintenance and ERP support alongside VideoXpert operations. Governance controls emphasized AD based access, OU policy enforcement and coordinated configuration management for camera and server updates across the covered sites.

JSW Steel | Manufacturing | 25550 | $21.1B | India | Pelco, a Motorola Solutions Company | Pelco VideoXpert | Video Surveillance System | 2016 | n/a |
In 2016, JSW Steel deployed Pelco VideoXpert as its Video Surveillance System. The deployment targeted plant security and operational visibility at industrial sites including Vijayanagar Works in Bellary, Karnataka, and used Pelco IP cameras that site electrical and maintenance teams maintained and troubleshooted.
The implementation centered on a centralized video management architecture using Pelco VideoXpert, with core capabilities configured for continuous recording, live monitoring, playback and incident export. The system configuration included centralized camera management, camera health monitoring, storage management and user access controls aligned to security operations and shift based monitoring workflows.
Operational handling was executed over the plant Ethernet and Windows workstation environment, reflecting site familiarity with Windows and industrial network protocols. Security operations, electrical maintenance and plant operations functions used the Video Surveillance System for event review related to conveyor systems, coke oven area access and general plant safety observation, while fire alarm and process control systems continued to be managed in parallel by site teams.
Governance and operationalization included documented SOP and SMP processes, preventive maintenance scheduling and PM document maintenance for camera and VMS upkeep. Technicians with experience in Pelco IP camera maintenance, network troubleshooting and standard operating procedures were responsible for commissioning, routine maintenance and incident response, with oversight from plant maintenance and security leads.

Ultratech Nathdwara Cement India | Manufacturing | 600 | $205M | India | Pelco, a Motorola Solutions Company | Pelco VideoXpert | Video Surveillance System | 2014 | n/a |
In 2014 Ultratech Nathdwara Cement India implemented Pelco VideoXpert as its Video Surveillance System to centralize CCTV operations at the Kotputli plant. The deployment was targeted at on-site security and operational monitoring for two thermal power plants and a 10000 TPD kiln, aligning the Video Surveillance System with plant floor surveillance and control room visibility needs.
Pelco VideoXpert was configured to manage mixed camera estates, supporting both Pelco and Sony branded IP and analog cameras present at the site. Functional capabilities implemented included centralized live view, continuous recording and archival, camera configuration and health monitoring, role based user access, and event driven alarm handling consistent with Video Surveillance System best practices.
The implementation addressed integration of analog cameras via encoder interfaces and direct IP camera streams to the Pelco VideoXpert server architecture, delivering a unified camera management layer over the existing physical camera infrastructure. Operational ownership rested with the plant E&I and security teams, who used the system for shift monitoring and incident review, and maintenance teams had visibility into camera operational status as part of broader equipment monitoring responsibilities.
Governance and rollout focused on operational alignment rather than enterprise systems replacement, with phased commissioning across plant zones to validate camera coverage and recording retention policies. The narrative centers on Ultratech Nathdwara Cement India, Pelco VideoXpert, Video Surveillance System, and the business functions of plant security and operations monitoring.
