The engagement was executed with team neusta Germany and followed approximately 1.5 years of concept and development before the new shop went live.
The implementation combined Pimcore PIM/MDM for centralized product and master data management with Pimcore Digital Commerce to support catalog management, merchandising workflows, pricing and promotional configuration, and voucher and membership commerce. The solution was configured to enable cross-channel commerce capabilities and to support campaign driven catalog updates common to sports merchandise launches.

In 2018, famila-Handelsmarkt Kiel deployed Pimcore Digital Commerce to power its customer-facing website, implementing an eCommerce solution designed to carry the regional retail brand online. The implementation uses client side local storage for the shopping list and server side content and participation storage in Pimcore, with Pimcore handling automated confirmation mailings for event registrations.
