In 2017, Cimos implemented Spica Time and Space, a Time and Attendance application. The deployment centralized time capture and attendance workflows for the automotive employer, aligning production floor and administrative workforce timekeeping under a single Time and Attendance system. The Cimos implementation targeted core business functions in HR and operations, including scheduling, shift control, leave tracking and attendance compliance.
Spica Time and Space was configured to deliver core time capture and clock in out functionality, shift scheduling and roster planning, absence and leave management, attendance rules enforcement and operational reporting. Configuration work emphasized rule sets for overtime and shift differentials, manager approval workflows and employee self service time entry, reflecting typical Time and Attendance functional modules. The implementation included terminal and badge oriented data collection and centralized time record consolidation for payroll preparation.

In 2014, Domel implemented Spica Time and Space for Time and Attendance to centralize workforce time capture across its manufacturing operations and HR processes. The deployment targeted employee time registration, scheduling, and payroll data provisioning for HR and payroll functions within the organization that employs approximately 1500 people.
Spica Time and Space was configured with clocking terminals and a rules based processing engine to handle schedules, special circumstances, overtime, bonuses, and reimbursements. The implementation included configurable scheduling and approval workflows, employee specific rules, and multiple access interfaces including web, mobile and terminal registration, providing a single source of truth for time events and processed attendance data.
Integration architecture emphasized bidirectional SAP connectivity, using Time and Space modules that synchronize core HR master data from SAP and transmit clocking events back into SAP. Two integration modes were implemented, synchronizing raw clocking data from Spica to SAP where SAP performs scheduling, approvals and accounting, and exporting processed payroll level data from Time and Space into SAP for final payroll accounting. The deployment used Spica modules designed to integrate with SAP HCM SuccessFactors and a certified integration module for SAP ERP to ensure consistent employee and organizational structure across systems.
Operational governance focused on using Spica as the authoritative time capture and processing layer while SAP remained the system of record for HR and payroll accounting. Rollout covered HR, payroll and shop floor time capture workflows, with system maintenance and support processes established to manage terminals and integration points. The integrated design provided the standard Time and Attendance benefits described by the vendor such as streamlined payroll data transfer, rules based compliance checks, improved workforce scheduling and unified time data for HR and payroll functions.

In 2007 Intereuropa implemented Spica Time and Space as its centralized Time and Attendance solution to standardize working time capture and access control across its Slovenian operations. The deployment targeted the head office in Koper and extended to multiple warehouses, parking lots and other facilities where Spica clock and access terminals were already in use at selected locations.
Time and Space was configured to provide monthly totals for payroll input, set access profiles for individual users, track regular and overtime hours, and manage annual leave records. The implementation also covered records for higher-rate compensations, calculation of contract hours and maintenance of the number of contract workers, reflecting typical Time and Attendance functional workflows for payroll integration and workforce time governance.
The project required full integration with the SAP HR module for personnel management and payroll calculation, a requirement driven by Intereuropa beginning its SAP HR rollout in the summer of 2007. Time and Space was instrumented to automatically transfer time data into SAP HR and to produce automated reporting feeds, enabling payroll calculation to consume verified time entries directly.
The rollout was rapid, launched in December 2007 and largely completed by the end of January 2008 when Time and Space data was first used for payroll processing, with access control and training completed by spring and a maintenance schedule agreed. Centralisation eliminated duplicate operative records, reduced routine administrative work, decreased the number of IT component suppliers and improved reporting and cost control, while Intereuropa planned further integration with its HR database and eventual expansion of the system into its Croatian companies.
