The deployment timeline and initial configuration involved an internal Business Data Analyst who was active from November 2014 through October 2019 and contributed to data profiling, migration, integration and reporting design.
The implementation covered SYSPRO modules for supply chain management, manufacturing, customer relationship management and quality control using Unipoint. Configuration work focused on inventory control, MRP planning, production operations and accounts interfaces, alongside the creation of data cubes and a reporting data warehouse to support operational and management reporting.
Reporting and analytics were implemented using Jet Reports, Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services, SSAS and SSIS, and Power BI to deliver informational reports and data cube consumption for management. System administration and operational tooling aligned with Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory roles to manage availability and user access. Vendor sourcing activities were conducted to evaluate complementary ERP, CRM, WMS and e-commerce capabilities.
Operational governance included formal support ticket workflows with detailed issue tracking, disaster recovery planning and system testing, and continued administration to support end users. Operational coverage includes supply chain and procurement related processes within Cafe Valleys manufacturing footprint and extends externally to its trading partner network for purchase orders, invoices and related documents.
Governance for the rollout was executed in close collaboration between SYSPRO and TIE Kinetix, with TIE Kinetix providing ongoing partner onboarding and support expertise. The program delivered complete digitalization of document exchange and mitigated human error within the document exchange process, backed by a cloud hosted EDI service integrated into SYSPRO Supply Chain Management.
