Brose Fahrzeugteile | Manufacturing | 32000 | $8.5B | Germany | SAP | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | 2022 | MHP – A Porsche Company | In 2022, Brose Fahrzeugteile deployed SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the backbone of a Brose Group HR digitization program implemented with MHP, A Porsche Company, aligning the initiative to the Core HR category and covering an employee population of approximately 32,000. The engagement positioned SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the central HR system for master data and core HR workflows, with SuccessFactors chosen for cloud-native Core HR capabilities and module-based extensibility. The implementation delivered a set of SuccessFactors modules into production, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Learning, Employee Profile, Performance & Goals, and Succession & Development were launched successfully. The broader SuccessFactors suite was defined in scope, with Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation & Benefits, and HR Analytics slated for phased rollout to complete the program by 2023, indicating a staged module activation strategy. Architecturally the program used the SuccessFactors suite as a centralized HR system of record to standardize employee profiles, learning management, performance cycles, and succession workflows, leveraging standard SuccessFactors functional patterns for onboarding future modules. Configuration work focused on employee master data modeling, learning management workflows, goal and performance templates, and succession plan structures, consistent with Core HR functional requirements. Governance was co-led by Brose HR digitalization leadership and MHP, A Porsche Company, with a program office model that coordinated module by module releases and change management across HR teams. Johannes Schwämmlein, Head of HR Digitalization at the Brose Group, characterized the collaboration with MHP as having already achieved substantial progress, reflecting a joint governance and delivery approach. Brose and MHP report the digital HR transformation as a success for the delivered modules, while retaining a clear phased plan to activate remaining SuccessFactors capabilities through 2023. The narrative centers on implemented Core HR functionality, staged rollout governance, and programmatic completion of additional HR modules within the SuccessFactors suite. | |
