Sunbelt Radiators, Inc. | Automotive | 20 | $5M | United States | Epicor | Epicor Eagle Aftermarket | Automotive ERP | 2012 | n/a | In 2012, Sunbelt Radiators, Inc. implemented Epicor Eagle Aftermarket as its Automotive ERP and adopted the application as a daily tool for purchasing, inventory, and vendor management. The deployment focused on core aftermarket ERP capabilities, with Epicor Eagle Aftermarket used to create purchase orders, send orders to vendors, and record operations related to returns to vendors across the companys warehouse network. The implementation served operational functions for purchasing, inventory control, vendor and customer master data, and returns processing. Configuration work centered on purchasing workflows and inventory master data, including adding or correcting part names, technical specifications, and warehouse locations inside Epicor Eagle Aftermarket. The team developed inventory level models and stock transfer procedures to move items between warehouses, and implemented return to vendor workflows that capture negotiation, return authorization, and disposition steps in the system. Reporting and analytics were built from scratch using advanced structured query language to produce both ad hoc and scheduled reports, and those queries were surfaced through a dashboard tool to support purchasing and inventory planning. Operational coverage emphasized day to day use by a small aftermarket distributor, with Epicor Eagle Aftermarket integrated into routine activities for maintaining vendor relationships, processing returns, and updating customer and vendor profiles. Microsoft Office was used alongside Epicor Eagle ERP for advanced data manipulation and reporting, with Excel workbooks, pivot tables, macros, and VBA supporting consolidation and analysis of ERP extracts. Governance centered on formalizing procedures for purchase order creation, inventory adjustments, vendor returns recording, and master data maintenance to ensure transactional consistency and auditability. | |
