Silver Airways Transportation 1000 $105M United States NavBlue NavBlue N-Ops & Crew (ex N-RAIDO) Workforce Management 2019 n/a In 2019, Silver Airways implemented NavBlue N-Ops & Crew (ex N-RAIDO) as a Workforce Management application across its operations. The contract covered four Operations Control Centre products, specifically N-RAIDO, N-Crew Line Bidding System LBS, N-Crew Pairing Optimizer and N-Flight Planning, establishing Silver Airways as the first US customer for N-RAIDO and marking the North American launch of the solution stack. NavBlue N-Ops & Crew (ex N-RAIDO) was deployed as a single-database Ops Control and Crew Management platform combining a dynamic Event-Engine with a Rules-Engine to support both day-of-ops management and long-term crew planning. Implemented functional capabilities included day-of-ops Crew Scheduling, Crew Planning and Crew Payroll orchestration, automated rule-based alerts for duty and rest compliance, training and certification tracking, and crew administrative events such as vacation, medical checks and passport expiry. The N-Crew Line Bidding System LBS provided seniority-based pre-built bid line awards with bidder filtering and preference entry, while the N-Crew Pairing Optimizer converted published flight schedules into legal crew pairings across scheduling horizons from weeks to seasons. N-Flight Planning was rolled out as a multi-tiered browser-based flight planning module integrated into the OCC product suite, designed to compute optimized trajectories based on payload, aircraft performance, weather and air-traffic constraints with selectable optimization for minimum flight time, fuel burn or total cost. NavBlue retained responsibility to design, test, train, implement and administer the suite, and the implementation was aligned to comply with US Federal Aviation Regulations for crew and operations management. Operational coverage focused on Silver Airways crew and flight operations across its hubs and fleet, tying crew scheduling and pairing outputs to day-of-ops control workflows. Governance and rollout combined vendor-led configuration, testing and training with OCC operational adoption, and the airline reported explicit benefits of improved employee access to critical operational information through NavBlue’s interface. Silver Airways cited improved operational communication and expectations of further efficiency gains as part of the implemented NavBlue N-Ops & Crew Workforce Management deployment.
Sky Lease Cargo Transportation 280 $125M United States AIMS INTL DWC AIMS eCrew Workforce Management 2015 n/a In 2015, Sky Lease Cargo deployed AIMS eCrew from AIMS INTL DWC as a Workforce Management application to centralize crew scheduling and pilot records functions within its Department of Operations. AIMS eCrew was provisioned as the core Workforce Management system supporting Alerts and Warnings, crew assignment workflows, and Pilot Record Data administration. Configuration work focused on the Alerts and Warnings engine, Crew Scheduling modules, the Pilot Record Data program, and EFB programming support, with role-based access for the Crew Records Administrator, EFB Programming Manager, Director of Operations, Chief Pilot, and Director of Training and Flight Standards. The implementation formalized operational capabilities for ongoing internal audits and the monitoring of scheduling-impacting warnings through AIMS eCrew. Operational coverage extended across the Department of Operations and Records, with the system feeding data analysis workflows used by the Efficacy and Efficiency Department in conjunction with Safety and Security. Those analysis workflows drew indicators from Flight Data Monitoring, ASAP reports, and Irregularity Reports to inform training and quality assurance activities through AIMS eCrew. Governance and process changes institutionalized an Internal Auditor reporting to the Director of Operations to perform on-going audits and manage AIMS Airline Software alerts that affect crew scheduling and pilot records. The deployment defined backup responsibilities for Crew Records and EFB programming, and incorporated support for FAA letters and projects along with cross-department coordination on training and flight standards.
