Latitude 33 Aviation Transportation 72 $10M United States Schedaero SchedAero Crew Scheduling Workforce Scheduling 2019 n/a In 2019 Latitude 33 Aviation deployed SchedAero Crew Scheduling as part of a focused operational pilot to centralize crew rostering and trip orchestration. SchedAero Crew Scheduling is used at Latitude 33 Aviation as a Workforce Scheduling application to align crew availability, duty assignments, and trip-level scheduling within the charter operator environment. The implementation emphasized standard Workforce Scheduling capabilities, including crew roster management, availability tracking, and automated trip population workflows. SchedAero Crew Scheduling was configured to accept trip-level data and to maintain a single source of scheduling truth, reducing manual copy and entry between systems and supporting dispatch and charter sales workflows. This deployment integrated explicitly with Avinode’s FlightBridge travel management platform, enabling FlightBridge to auto-populate reservations for hotels, rental cars, and catering and push those trip details back into Schedaero workflows. The integration created a data flow where FlightBridge supplies ancillary trip services and pricing comparisons to Schedaero, and Schedaero centralizes crew and flight operations information for pilots, dispatch, and sales teams. Governance and process changes centered on reducing duplicate data entry and streamlining updates to trip information so that schedule changes propagate automatically across systems. During beta testing Latitude 33 Aviation reported operational outcomes including a verified time savings of at least three hours per week due to the reduction in duplicate data entry and faster selection of ancillary services.
Abellio Transportation 14000 $3.0B Netherlands UKG UKG Pro Workforce Management (Ex UKG Dimensions) Workforce Management 2020 n/a In 2020, Abellio deployed UKG Pro Workforce Management (Ex UKG Dimensions) to replace WorkForce EmpCenter across its Greater Anglia operations. The implementation targeted Abellio’s rail division that employs approximately 3,000 people, manages more than 150 train stations and operates 1,300 daily regional and intercity trips, supporting frontline crew scheduling, station staffing and HR timekeeping for operational shifts. The deployment configured standard Workforce Management capabilities in UKG Pro Workforce Management (Ex UKG Dimensions), including schedule and roster management, time and attendance capture, labor forecasting and demand based shift planning, rules driven compliance monitoring, and mobile employee self service for shift bids and notifications. Automation focused on schedule generation, exception handling workflows, and time adjudication to align crew availability with published train timetables. Rollout scope emphasized operational coverage across station staff, onboard crew, and regional operations within Greater Anglia, centralizing roster governance between operations managers and HR teams. The implementation replaced WorkForce EmpCenter, consolidating workforce records and roster controls under the UKG Pro Workforce Management system. Governance changes included formalized approval workflows for shift swaps, centralized roster versioning to support compliance with transport regulations, and role based access controls to separate operational scheduling from payroll reconciliation. Operational processes were restructured to standardize shift bidding and exception escalation between operations managers and HR.
