In 2017, ENGIE Australia & New Zealand implemented ORIX OneView to provide centralized fleet administration and operational control. ORIX OneView was deployed to support Fleet Management activities for ENGIE and its EQUANS ANZ service teams, bringing a single application into routine use by Service Support Coordinators and field technicians across Australia and New Zealand.
The implementation focused on core Fleet Management capabilities including an asset register for vehicles and hire equipment, vehicle allocation and scheduling, maintenance and service planning, and record keeping for log books and technician licences. Service Coordinators used ORIX OneView to update fleet records and manage day to day fleet tasks such as ordering and receipting PPE and tracking hire equipment, aligning vehicle assignments with scheduled service work.
Operational coverage included EQUANS ANZ regional service teams and technicians operating from Maryville NSW and Newcastle, and extended across the organisation's 20 plus local sites. The platform functioned as the authoritative fleet record used by teams handling local contract invoicing queries, inventory and warehouse stock processes, and field scheduling to coordinate trade personnel in response to customer requirements.
Governance and workflow changes centered on centralizing fleet updates and embedding fleet record maintenance into administrative processes, for example linking fleet data entry to staff paperwork tasks such as inductions and licence management. ORIX OneView served as the operational control point for fleet related administrative workflows, improving traceability of vehicle assignments and standardizing how Service Coordinators manage fleet and related inventory activities.
