Alliance Building Services Professional Services 1200 $450M United States ABI MasterMind ABI MasterMind Workforce Manager Workforce Management 2011 n/a In 2011, Alliance Building Services implemented ABI MasterMind Workforce Manager, a Workforce Management application, to support site-level payroll and scheduling for its commercial property operations. Deployment focused on workforce administration for a Commercial Real Estate portfolio exceeding 10 million square feet spanning 10 commercial buildings, churches, a cemetery and developmental space, and supported site crews of roughly 200 to 240 union janitorial and engineering employees. ABI MasterMind Workforce Manager was configured to handle core workforce modules including time and attendance capture, shift scheduling, payroll data entry and processing, new hire onboarding administration, training scheduling, and disciplinary and incident tracking. The ABI MasterMind Workforce Manager implementation supported routine operational workflows such as staffing replacements, daily coverage coordination, tracking employee entitlements, and reporting work injuries, aligning workforce administration with site operational rhythms. The implementation operated alongside other payroll tooling during transitional periods, with ADP Workforce Now 9 Timecard and WinTeam 5 used for a year to process payroll for a comparable employee population, indicating coexistence and operational interoperability at the payroll and timecard layer. Operational ownership spanned payroll, operations, and human resources, with the system used as the point of record for attendance, suspensions, terminations, uniform and schedule distribution, and as a liaison tool between on-site staff and HR at CitiField. Governance was structured around union contracts and documented payroll policies, with process controls for confidential payroll handling and dispute resolution workflows. The deployment supported operational process changes such as quarterly employee training scheduling and tightened onboarding flows, and delivered a reported reduction in payroll errors of 80 percent within three months of the role performing payroll administration using the system.
Alliance Building Services Professional Services 1200 $450M United States WorkWave TEAM by WorkWave Workforce Management 2010 n/a In 2010, Alliance Building Services implemented TEAM by WorkWave as its core Workforce Management application. The deployment centralized workforce scheduling, time and attendance data and operational task automation across commercial building maintenance and physical security service lines. Configuration focused on workforce management capabilities typical of the category, including schedule generation, mobile time capture, labor tracking and job costing for multi site field operations. The implementation incorporated rule sets to handle multi state labor regulations and multi union work rules, and automated recurring task assignments and supervisor shift boards. TEAM by WorkWave was aligned with financial and operations workflows to streamline back office processing and reduce manual reconciliation between field time capture and accounting. Operational coverage extended across multiple business units and customer sites, impacting field operations, dispatch, human resources and payroll processing and enabling mobile access for technicians and security staff. Governance changes accompanied the rollout, including establishment of a formal human resources function, creation of employee handbooks, benefits administration and standardized job descriptions to support the workforce management system. The technology and process workstream was intended to achieve operational efficiencies, streamline processes and automate tasks as recorded in source notes.
