Johnson Service Group Professional Services 5072 $590M United Kingdom Microsoft Microsoft Dynamics GP HR Core HR 2019 n/a In 2019 Johnson Service Group implemented Microsoft Dynamics GP HR to centralize contractor onboarding and core HR record management across its shared services organization. The Microsoft Dynamics GP HR deployment targeted Core HR use cases, with a particular emphasis on standardized intake and data integrity for contractor populations sourced by branch offices. The implementation was configured to operate across HR and Payroll modules within the Dynamics GP environment, leveraging SmartList reporting capabilities for data extraction and audit trails. Functional capabilities implemented included review and data entry of pay rates, state and federal tax set-ups, workers compensation coding, direct deposit configuration, per-diem eligibility validation, I-9 verification and supporting documentation matching, recalculation of Adjusted Variable Margin for commission payouts, statutory sick time set-up, and preparation of documentation for WOTC tax credit processing. Microsoft Dynamics GP HR was integrated operationally with the organizations 1Staff Back Office module and the accounting setup workflow to ensure contractor records propagated to payroll and financial posting processes. The rollout supported the shared services Onboarding Coordinator role, and relied on Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Outlook and OneNote for adjunct reconciliation, reporting preparation, and communication with branch administrators, sales staff and recruiters. Governance centered on an Onboarding Coordinator as a gatekeeper function, enforcing review and data integrity processes, matching internal start sheets to supporting documents, and auditing time files for multi-state tax and labor law compliance. Regular reporting outputs were prepared and distributed for internal review and for branch SVPs, embedding the Microsoft Dynamics GP HR record set into ongoing HR, payroll and accounting workflows.
