Christopher & Banks | Retail | 2800 | $451M | United States | Aptos | Aptos Enterprise Order Management | Order Management | 2015 | n/a | In 2015 Christopher & Banks implemented Aptos Enterprise Order Management as its Retail Order Management solution to support a new website build and omnichannel order flows. The implementation was scoped alongside three major vendors and several additional support vendors, aligning the Aptos Enterprise Order Management deployment with the web, mobile, and tablet channels for customer facing order capture and fulfillment orchestration. Aptos Enterprise Order Management was configured to deliver standard Retail Order Management capabilities including centralized order capture, inventory visibility and allocation, fulfillment orchestration and routing, returns management, and order tracking. Configuration work emphasized business rules for routing and allocation, payment capture touch points, and fulfillment mode orchestration to support web orders originating from the new Site Genesis storefront. Integrations were explicitly planned with Demandware Site Genesis for storefront order capture and with browser and device testing tooling using Browserstack for web application and mobile & tablet validation. The program documentation referenced a formal Test Plan and Test Strategy, and testing activities covered cross browser and device compatibility as well as end to end order flows between the storefront and Aptos Enterprise Order Management. Operational coverage focused on e commerce, fulfillment operations, customer service, and merchandising processes, with governance structured around vendor coordination and phased validation cycles. Rollout governance used the documented test strategy to sequence channel level acceptance, vendor cutover coordination, and post go live support handoffs involving the three major vendors and supporting service providers. | |
