The software forms the core of what IDOT calls its Asset Management Program, and it was configured to support IDOT's unique business processes rather than using out of the box workflows. Governance and process change centered on unifying asset and fleet records into a single program level system, standardizing workflows for equipment maintenance and seasonal materials contracts, and instituting the configured modules as the authoritative operational tools for those functions. The implementation explicitly supports management of roadway and fleet assets, financial account balancing, and snow and ice removal contracts and materials management as stated by IDOT. | |
