ED&F Man Capital Markets Limited Banking and Financial Services 145 $132M United Kingdom CQG CQG QTrader Analytics and BI 2014 n/a In 2014, ED&F Man Capital Markets Limited implemented CQG QTrader as a front-office analytics and execution tool, using it within the Analytics and BI category to support trading analytics and execution monitoring. The deployment targeted approximately 100 to 150 users on site in London, with dedicated VIP trader and back office user profiles provisioned for the trading floor. CQG QTrader was configured to deliver market data visualization, trade analytics, order entry and execution monitoring capabilities consistent with Analytics and BI workflows. Configuration work included user profile management, workstation provisioning in a cloud enabled desktop environment, and coexistence with Microsoft standard applications such as Windows 7, MSO 2010 and 2013 and Office 365 for trader workflow and reporting. The implementation operated within a heterogeneous trading technology estate, integrating CQG QTrader alongside Reuters and Bloomberg market data feeds and coexisting with FSS, CQG Trader, Murex, Xtrader and Sword to support multi-platform trading operations. Operational coverage extended beyond London to provide remote support for the Hong Kong office and Brazilian satellite office in Sao Paulo and Miami, while collaborating with the Chicago office that supported an additional 40 plus users. Server administration responsibilities included Exchange and Active Directory, and backup orchestration used eVault with constructed jobs and subtasks for scheduled backups. Operational governance emphasized incident logging and closure, escalation via problem tickets to third party vendors, and remote support using SolarWinds Dameware. Day to day support also encompassed procurement and installation of new hardware and software, on site VIP user support and routine troubleshooting to maintain continuity of trading operations while CQG QTrader served as the primary Analytics and BI trading terminal.
