Configuration and courseware focused on typical Warehouse Management workflows, inventory handling, production scheduling alignment and master data governance to ensure consistent process execution across sites. Delivery followed a hybrid implementation approach, with an external ERP training consultancy, Optimum, working alongside ABF internal trainers. Optimum had a six week window to develop end user training materials, trainer packs and reference guides, then delivered initial classroom sessions at three sites in the north of England and virtual sessions for remaining users, while concurrently transferring knowledge to ABF staff. Governance and rollout responsibility was transitioned to ABF through a train the trainer model, with Optimum’s trainer packs and documentation handed over for localisation and future phases of the D365 rollout. The trainer packs and train the trainer delivery were recorded by ABF stakeholders as providing comprehensive materials that enabled the internal training team to deliver subsequent sessions and continue the Warehouse Management rollout to other brands. | |
