Architecturally the solution positioned Blaze Advisor as the decision service orchestrator, consuming core operational datasets including GIS, property and encumbrance information to execute business rules. Australian consultancy Wise Technology Management directed the integration work and ensured the data path and operational processes were woven into the rules engine and the easyACCESS portal. Yarra Valley Water Corporation led the business change program, mapping processes and instituting governance to maintain rules, decisions and exceptions in the business rules repository. The deployment produced consistent decision outcomes, operational savings and greater capacity for five year planning of water, recycling and storage, while shifting resources from administration to front-line services and improving the accuracy of billing for developers and plumbers through automated decisioning powered by FICO Blaze Advisor. | |
