United Chemicals Company (UCC), part of Saeed Radad Group (SRG) Oil, Gas and Chemicals 2000 $180M Saudi Arabia Oracle Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR 2020 ACSE Solutions In 2020, United Chemicals Company implemented Oracle Cloud HCM as part of a coordinated move to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SCM, and HCM, aligning HR systems with a cloud native SaaS architecture. ACSE Solutions led the implementation for UCC, embedding Oracle Cloud HCM within a standardized, configurable cloud landscape that SRG had committed to, to reduce on-premises complexity and outsource security and maintenance. The Oracle Cloud HCM deployment covered Core HR capabilities including payroll processing, recruiting and talent acquisition workflows, employee self-service, and comprehensive HR reporting and dashboards. Oracle Payroll was implemented to simplify payroll complexity and automate calculations, and recruiting/talent workflows were configured to reduce time to hire by more than 50 percent, while employee self-service redesign reduced manager time spent on requests by almost 90 percent. Technically the HCM rollout was integrated with the broader Oracle Fusion Cloud suite, aligning HR data flows with Cloud ERP and Cloud SCM modules to eliminate prior spreadsheet-based transfers between multiple legacy systems, including Microsoft Great Plains ERP. The implementation extended across UCC operations supporting HR, finance, and supply chain teams that manage sales and distribution in Saudi Arabia and more than 10 export markets, improving real time visibility into workforce and cost data. Governance and process changes emphasized standardization and built-in Oracle best practices, enabling a faster deployment cycle that went live three times faster than comparable on-premises ERP projects. Management gained instant visibility through dashboards, payroll accuracy and processing time improved, and the company positioned Core HR on Oracle Cloud HCM as a foundation for further operational digitization and alignment with supply chain and finance systems.
