HeartFlow Life Sciences 500 $50M United States Definitive Healthcare Definitive Healthcare HospitalView Analytics and BI 2019 n/a In 2019, HeartFlow implemented Definitive Healthcare HospitalView as a core component of its Analytics and BI environment. The implementation was positioned to supply hospital and provider reference data into the company analytics fabric, supporting commercial decision making and market intelligence across global commercial teams and expanding product lines. Definitive Healthcare HospitalView was integrated into a broader analytics architecture that included a Tableau reporting layer and Extract Load Transform strategies to normalize source data. HeartFlow engineered a centralized DataLake and landed analytics data into Snowflake using Dell Boomi as the integration platform, enabling consolidated reporting, operational simulations, and headcount planning models. The HospitalView deployment was part of a multi-system integration roadmap that connected Definitive Healthcare HospitalView with HubSpot, ZenDesk, Smarteeva, Groove, EverContact, DocuSign, ShowPad, Workbench, TrackWise, and NetSuite, in addition to CRM improvements. Operational coverage spanned sales and commercial functions, with data flows feeding downstream analytics and finance processes tied to NetSuite. Governance and process work included a revamp of Salesforce aligned with new business processes for expanded commercial teams, geographies and products, and a centralized reporting governance model driven by the Business Systems and Analytics function. The program explicitly captured a licensing savings of $300K through the broader platform rationalization, and delivered advanced analytics capabilities including simulations to predict operational performance and inform headcount planning.
