Frontier Software iChris was positioned as the institutional system of record for employee master data, and the year 2013 marks the start of its use for core HR functions across the organization. Configuration focused on Core HR capabilities including employee record management, payroll processing support aligned to fortnightly pay cycles, leave and entitlements administration, and employee benefits administration. The implementation supported workflows used by payroll officers who performed manual timesheet coding and produced payroll reports, and it accommodated HR activities such as policy updates and preparation for enterprise agreement negotiations. Operational scope included the HR function, payroll operations, reception and executive administrative users, and program management activities such as staff surveys and employee recognition events. Deployment was organized to support day to day HR case management and payroll data entry for the full employee population in Australia while providing reporting and record keeping for HR and executive leadership. Governance and process changes emphasized centralized maintenance of HR policies, role based access to personnel records, and formalized workflows for payroll approval and benefits administration. The Frontier Software iChris implementation aligned system configuration with existing HR governance tasks including biennial staff surveys, benefits program redesign, and support for Enterprise Agreement preparations. | |
