Our global team of 50 researchers has been studying the digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by 2 million + companies including technographic segmentation of 10 million ERP, EPM, CRM, HCM, Procurement, SCM, Treasury software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions and perhaps the rise and fall of certain vendors and their products on a quarterly basis.

Advance Auto Parts | Retail | 40000 | $11.3B | United States | ServiceNow | ServiceNow HR | HR Service Delivery | 2018 | n/a | In 2018 Advance Auto Parts implemented ServiceNow HR, deploying the ServiceNow HR application to support enterprise HR operations. The implementation was delivered within the companys wider ServiceNow estate and explicitly targeted the HR Service Delivery category while the platform team concurrently managed ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, GRC, and ITBM across five ServiceNow environments. ServiceNow HR was configured to leverage core HR Service Delivery capabilities consistent with the category, including case and knowledge management, an employee service center and portal, and lifecycle event automation. Platform-level capabilities were extended to HR by configuring Virtual Agent with natural language understanding, enabling mobile application access, and applying Predictive Intelligence features to streamline employee inquiry handling. Operationally the HR implementation was coordinated through the central ServiceNow platform organization, with development and support teams, contracted resources, and vendor partners aligned under a single platform product owner for five environments. Integration work focused on establishing HR workflow and case routing touchpoints within the ServiceNow platform and aligning HR processes with existing platform modules rather than introducing separate point solutions. Governance and delivery were structured around Agile development practices, a Platform Product Owner model, and three governance bodies covering technical decisions, demand management, and strategic direction. The program also established a Citizen Developer program to enable scoped low and no code development by nondevelopment stakeholders, accelerating delivery velocity and expanding internal development capability. Ongoing responsibility for ServiceNow HR remains with the central platform organization, which continues to manage development, support, and demand prioritization across HR and adjacent business functions while maintaining the governance bodies and Agile delivery cadence. | |
