Northeast Georgia Physicians Group | Healthcare | 500 | $80M | United States | Infor | Infor Lawson SCM | Supply Chain Management | 2012 | n/a | In 2012, Northeast Georgia Physicians Group implemented Infor Lawson SCM as part of a Lawson v10 Cloud Suite deployment that targeted Supply Chain Management across financial and operational functions. The implementation was delivered on Lawson v10 Cloud Suite components, specifically AP, GL and SCM systems, to centralize procurement, payables and inventory controls within the provider organization. The technical implementation included configuration of core SCM modules alongside AP and GL workflows, with an in-house IT team of eight analysts providing implementation and ongoing application support. The program leader recruited, evaluated and developed staff, and held certifications in Epic PB Charge Router and PB Resolute SBO. The team built, tested and implemented Charge Router rules and Charge Review rules to reduce claim rejections for the revenue cycle team, aligning charge capture workflows between clinical billing and finance systems. Infor Lawson SCM was integrated into a wider application landscape, interfacing operationally with Epic PB Resolute, Kronos, SuccessFactors, ReadySet4, Enuff and Axiom among approximately 90 distinct IT systems. The scope of operational coverage extended across 146 departments, which required coordination between supply chain, finance and revenue cycle functions to harmonize master data, transaction flows and month end processes. Governance and rollout were managed through formal business and strategic planning, budget preparation and project management for enterprise information technology initiatives. The implementation leader acted as liaison between operational managers and directors of IT, project managed strategic projects across the institution, and served as a change agent by instilling openness to innovation and change in response to industry pressures. | |
