In 2012, Northeast Georgia Physicians Group implemented Infor Lawson as its ERP Financial solution. The deployment centered on Lawson v10 Cloud Suite covering accounts payable, general ledger and supply chain management modules to establish a consolidated financial backbone for the organization. Infor Lawson v10 Cloud Suite was configured to support AP, GL and SCM functional workflows, with explicit configuration of Charge Router and Charge Review rule sets to support revenue cycle input into the financial ledger. The implementation included application design, development, testing and release activities, reflecting hands on configuration and automation of charge routing and review capabilities consistent with ERP Financial operations. Operational scope spanned 146 departments and interfaced with roughly 90 distinct IT systems, positioning Infor Lawson as a central transactional hub for finance and supply chain information. Governance and program management were run from an internal IT leadership structure that managed a team of eight IT analysts, conducted recruiting and staff development, prepared strategic business plans and budgets, and acted as the liaison between operational managers and directors of IT. The team held certifications in Epic PB Charge Router and PB Resolute SBO, they built and executed Charge Router rules and Charge Review rules which were implemented to reduce claim rejections for the revenue cycle team, and they served as change agents to drive openness to process and system innovation.
