The deployment used Redfaire’s Cloud 9 fully managed hosted service on OCI, and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management was implemented alongside other EnterpriseOne modules to centralize transactional controls for inventory and related functions. The implementation included JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financials, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Procurement Management, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Service Contract Billing, JD Ewards EnterpriseOne Service Case Management, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne OneView Reporting. Configuration work focused on core Inventory Management workflows, including inventory transactions, stock visibility and costing, and integration points to procurement and sales order processes to support end to end inventory and order orchestration. Architecturally the solution was provisioned on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure through Redfaire’s Cloud 9 managed service, providing on demand elastic infrastructure, end to end data encryption, and a managed disaster recovery capability. As part of the migration the environment moved from SQL to Oracle Databases, a database transition referenced as producing substantial performance improvements, and the Cloud 9 engagement included an agreed service level arrangement to reduce internal IT maintenance overhead. Operational scope targeted finance, procurement, sales order processing, inventory operations, and service billing and case management functions to unify transactional processing and reporting.
