The Ceridian Dayforce Employee Scheduling rollout addressed Workforce Scheduling for the retailer's store-level labor operations across New Zealand, supporting a headcount of approximately 11,000 employees. The implementation centralized rostering and time capture to standardize schedule creation, availability management, and timesheet submission across store teams. Configuration emphasized core Workforce Scheduling capabilities including shift templates, availability capture, automated rostering rules to honor availability and budget constraints, and timesheet submission with validation and approvals. The deployment used scheduling workflows for roster publishing, change notifications, and intra-store shift exchanges, aligning with common retail shift planning and labor compliance practices. Payroll-affecting time events were configured for accurate export and reconciliation. Ceridian Dayforce Employee Scheduling was integrated operationally with payroll processing workflows that referenced MYOB, enabling timesheet data to be submitted for payroll runs. Store managers and assistant store managers operated the system day to day, while HR and operations retained configuration control over roster rules and labor parameters. Microsoft Office was used for operational reporting and ad hoc analysis exported from Dayforce. Governance placed schedule approval and timesheet validation at store management, with HR overseeing roster policy, overtime rules, and compliance controls. Training and coaching emphasized use of Dayforce for roster maintenance, timesheet accuracy, and supervisor approvals, reflecting on-the-job training performed by store leadership. The Ceridian Dayforce Employee Scheduling implementation consolidated Workforce Scheduling processes to standardize rostering and timekeeping procedures across retail operations.
Aegis Aged Care Healthcare 4500 $640M Australia Mirus Australia Mirus Works! Rostering Workforce Scheduling 2021 n/a In 2021 Aegis Aged Care implemented Mirus Works! Rostering to support Workforce Scheduling across four residential care locations covering approximately 200 employees. The deployment established a centralized rostering application to drive scheduling, timesheet validation and leave administration for frontline care and support staff. Mirus Works! Rostering was used to manage complex roster construction and validation, including detection of overlapping shifts, differentiation of part time versus casual accounts, and configuration of non standard shift types such as buddy shifts and time in lieu. The system supported operational tasks performed by the Payroll and Billing Officer, including review and amendment of timesheets for Nurses, AINs, Chefs, administrative staff and management, and maintenance of employee leave records and entitlements such as long service leave and maternity leave payments. The implementation was integrated operationally with Chris21 for employee master data and payroll related records, with employees entered and maintained in Chris21 including superannuation and tax declaration details. Billing and resident admission workflows remained linked to Epicor for invoicing and accommodation account management, enabling rostering and timesheet events from Mirus Works! Rostering to align with resident billing and accounts processes. Governance and process responsibilities were concentrated in payroll and billing operations, with formalized review workflows for timesheet correction, award interpretation under the Nurses Federation Award, reconciliations of accrued leave entitlements, and use of complex spreadsheet exports and uploads for ad hoc invoicing and reporting. Operational scope covered rostering, payroll feed preparation, leave administration and coordination with resident billing and admissions functions.
