In 2020 AhorraMas implemented Dematic IQ as part of a Dematic turnkey intralogistics project at its Velilla de San Antonio distribution center in Madrid. The implementation is classified as Logistics Management and centralized control for an automated storage and transport solution to optimize footprint and throughput within an existing warehouse. The physical deployment consists of a six storey automatic storage system installed inside an existing warehouse, coupled to conveyors and an electrified track for continuous pallet transport. The transport topology covers goods reception through to expedition using gravity channels and conveyor routes, and supports both Europallets and half pallets with a storage capacity of about 8,000 Euro pallets or 16,000 half pallets. Dematic IQ serves as the operational and lifecycle management platform, unifying operational data, control logic and management information to support order fulfillment and real time operational decision making. Dematic IQ is integrated with AhorraMas existing WMS, and it orchestrates fulfillment workflows and the automated storage and electrified track subsystems to deliver adaptability, reliability, efficiency and speed. Operational scope spans receiving, storage, order preparation for AhorraMas stores and expedition, while previously manual processes in the facility were automated to improve operation and worker safety. The installation entered operation in June 2019 and Dematic reported a positive engagement with AhorraMas, with the system used to manage both pallet handling and distribution center lifecycle activities.

In 2020, AhorraMas deployed Igarle LogiSynchro as part of its Warehouse Management tooling to automate fulfillment operations at its Madrid logistics site. The implementation of Igarle LogiSynchro targeted order execution and warehouse orchestration within the retail distribution footprint, emphasizing adaptable and high‑speed order fulfillment capability.
Igarle LogiSynchro was configured to manage core warehouse execution workflows, including order fulfillment orchestration, execution sequencing for picking and packing, and real time inventory task dispatching, aligning with standard Warehouse Management functional terminology. The solution was positioned to deliver adaptability, confidence, efficiency and speed in fulfillment, and the full application name Igarle LogiSynchro is used to coordinate operational execution.
The implementation was integrated with the Warehouse Management Software SGA used by AhorraMas, combining Igarle LogiSynchro at the execution layer with the SGA layer for warehouse control and inventory records. Integration focused on synchronizing order streams, task assignments, and inventory status between Igarle LogiSynchro and the SGA environment to centralize fulfillment workflows for the Madrid distribution operations.
Governance and operational changes centered on restructuring warehouse workflows around the new execution engine, instituting order orchestration handoffs between SGA and Igarle LogiSynchro, and assigning operational ownership to warehouse and logistics teams at the Madrid site. The deployment scope and architecture emphasize site level execution and systems interoperability, with Igarle LogiSynchro serving as the execution backbone for AhorraMas order fulfillment within the Warehouse Management category.
