Babcock International Group Aerospace and Defense 28343 $5.7B United Kingdom SAP SAP HCM Personnel Administration Core HR 2016 n/a In 2016 Babcock International Group implemented SAP HCM Personnel Administration as a Core HR solution to stabilize HR and payroll operations across its divisions. SAP HCM Personnel Administration was positioned to support HR administration, personnel management, and payroll related business functions within Babcock’s SAP Service and Programme organisation. Configuration work centered on SuccessFactors and SAP HR components, with explicit emphasis on SuccessFactors Employee Central, compensation, recruitment capabilities, and SAP HR organizational management and personnel administration OM/PA. Payroll remained coupled to ECC6 payroll processes, while HR master data, structures, portlets and reporting were addressed through targeted configuration, functional specification and ongoing support activities. Integration design and operational interfacing were scoped to support Babcock cross divisional processes, using middleware and integration patterns identified in role requirements, specifically Boomi and SAP Cloud Platform Integration CPI. Integrations also covered SAP Fleet and related SAP HR solutions, and deployments were managed across multiple SAP landscapes to maintain environment segregation for development, test and production usage with periodic on-site coordination at the Portsmouth hub in the United Kingdom. Governance emphasized formal blueprinting, creation of business process documentation, technical specifications, test scripts and training materials, and adherence to established data and reporting standards. Change management responsibilities included managing releases, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement of SuccessFactors and SAP HR configuration, with security requirements including the ability to obtain SC clearance for key personnel.
