Nutiva Consumer Packaged Goods 100 $12M United States SkuVault Skuvault Inventory Management Inventory Management 2014 n/a
In 2014, Nutiva implemented Skuvault Inventory Management to support its growing ecommerce and multi-channel fulfillment operations. The deployment targeted Inventory Management capabilities to improve SKU level visibility and to orchestrate warehouse workflows across online channels. Configuration work centered on standard Inventory Management modules, including SKU master data, bin location mapping, cycle counting schedules, receiving and putaway controls, and pick and pack workflow automation. Skuvault Inventory Management was configured to enforce inventory adjustments, reservation logic for channel orders, and to drive warehouse task lists and scanning workflows. The implementation integrated Skuvault with Nutiva's enterprise systems and marketplace channels, explicitly including Microsoft Dynamics GP, the Magento storefront, CRM and fulfillment software, plus marketplace endpoints such as Amazon, eBay, Rakuten, Costco.com and Tanga. Integration patterns focused on synchronized inventory feeds, order reservation and release, and shipment confirmation flows to maintain consistent on-hand quantity and order status across ecommerce and marketplace endpoints. Operational ownership and governance were centralized with the ecommerce architect, who owned systems integration and platform automation for multi-channel expansion. The rollout emphasized process standardization for inventory reconciliation, multi-channel order routing and fulfillment operations, and alignment of inventory workflows with marketing and sales channel growth initiatives.
Nutra Pak Consumer Packaged Goods 10 $1M United States In-House Applications In-House Warehouse Management Warehouse Management 2018 n/a
In 2018, Nutra Pak implemented In-House Warehouse Management, an in-house Warehouse Management application to centralize receiving and inventory control for the 10-employee consumer packaged goods company. The Nutra Pak In-House Warehouse Management Warehouse Management deployment supports receiving and inventory management business functions across procurement, quality and accounts payable. The In-House Warehouse Management application was provisioned to operationalize inbound scheduling, domestic and international receiving, small parcel distribution, and real-time warehouse movements to maintain inventory accuracy for planning. Core modules and configurations focused on receiving and putaway workflows, automated shelf location assignment, lot control and document capture for Certificates of Analysis, packing slips and Proof of Delivery, quality inspection workflows with Acceptable Quality Limit sampling, partial delivery tracking, and return-to-vendor processing. The system required transaction-level inventory updates so warehouse movements are completed accurately in the database and work order documents are attached to POs at receipt. Configuration emphasized user workflows for the Receiving Clerk role, including sequential receipt validation, damage and discrepancy reporting, and routing for distribution to internal requestors. Integrations were implemented with the Icelandirect Central System ICS Inventory Management and ERP components to exchange PO work order documents and to align receiving status with purchasing and accounts payable workflows. The WMS also interfaces operationally with purchasing, logistics and accounts payable processes, generating notifications when goods are received and ready for distribution. Document management and audit-standard filing for COAs, packing slips and PODs were embedded in the receipt workflow to support supplier compliance and audit readiness. Governance included role-based access and documented procedures for the Receiving Clerk, training requirements for computer literacy and ICS ERP usage, and mandatory upload and retention of inspection results and COAs. KPI instrumentation was built around the explicit metrics used by the organization, including receiving accuracy, on-time receipts, receipt processing time, vendor compliance, shortages and damages, return-to-vendor rate, inventory accuracy, documentation completeness and RMA processing time. Controls emphasized accurate receipt documentation and cross-departmental communication to ensure procurement, quality and finance are synchronized with warehouse operations.
