The effort ran alongside a finance platform consolidation that moved the company ERP from QuickBooks to Intacct and adjusted vendor payment flows involving Bill.com. SAP Concur Expense was configured to support core expense report submission, corporate card feed reconciliation, policy based approvals, and an auditable expense lifecycle, reflecting common Expense Management capabilities. Configuration emphasized approval routing, expense categorization, per diem and reimbursement rules, and automated posting preparations for credit card accruals used in the monthly financial close. Integrations tied SAP Concur Expense into Intacct for journal posting of expense entries and linked expense payments into Bill.com as part of the vendor payment transition. The implementation was scoped to the finance and accounting organization, supporting staff accountants, the controller, accounts payable, and month end close workflows. Governance changes centralized expense policy enforcement and standardized vendor data capture to support 1099 Misc reporting and controller led close activities, including prepaid expense and fixed asset depreciation journal entries. Role based approval models and targeted user training were applied to align operational workflows with the new SAP Concur Expense platform and existing accounting processes.
