Allegiant Air | Transportation | 5991 | $2.5B | United States | UKG | UKG Pro Compensation (ex UltiPro Compensation) | Compensation Management | 2017 | n/a | In 2017 Allegiant Air implemented UKG Pro Compensation (ex UltiPro Compensation) as its Compensation Management solution to centralize pay governance within People Services. The deployment supported the Manager of Benefits & Compensation and a team responsible for over 2,600 active employee records, with operational coverage across headquarters and airport base locations in the United States. The implementation focused on core Compensation Management capabilities including compensation planning, salary structure configuration, position benchmarking and merit and variable pay workflows. Configuration emphasized role based manager workflows and approval routing to align compensation decisions with performance management and total rewards processes, while enabling position based analysis to streamline benchmarking and pay decisions. Reporting and analytics were integrated into the operating model, with UKG Pro Compensation feeding scheduled reports and alerts consumed through Cognos Business Intelligence to improve data accuracy and realize cost savings. The compensation application operated alongside HRIS functions for benefits, leave of absence, performance management and time and attendance, and supported benefit operations interfaces such as coordination with COBRA and FMLA administrators; compensation outputs also informed the Employee Stock Purchase Program implementation with Fidelity and 401k committee deliberations. Governance and rollout included manager training on compensation and performance workflows, a restructured compensation model to streamline benchmarking and analysis, and centralized oversight by the Manager of Benefits & Compensation who also served as the company HIPAA Compliance Officer. The governance model extended to executive consultation on compensation and participation in union negotiations related to crew benefits, and the system supported open enrollment processes across sites. Explicit outcomes recorded during the program included improved reporting accuracy and cost savings driven by Cognos reporting, a streamlined compensation benchmarking process following the model redesign, and operational support for a full conversion to a consumer driven health plan with $7.5M in annual assets. The People Services organization also received external recognition via an IHCC award for population health management during the period of these HR and compensation initiatives.

Allegiant Air | Transportation | 5991 | $2.5B | United States | UKG | UKG Pro Onboarding (ex UltiPro Onboarding) | Onboarding | 2017 | n/a | In 2017 Allegiant Air implemented UKG Pro Onboarding (ex UltiPro Onboarding) as its Onboarding application to standardize new hire processing and manager self service intake across the HR organization. The rollout included a technology-led upgrade from UltiPro Onboarding Classic to the new UltiPro Onboarding and was managed within HR and People Services with close IT coordination for integrations and data migration activities. Configuration work focused on onboarding workflows, Employee Self Service and Manager Self Service enablement, automated tracking for voluntary disability identification, and enhancements to screening and candidate assessment processes used by Employment Services. The implementation team established repeatable, comprehensive user acceptance testing scripts for identity and access management related releases, and introduced just in time training via WalkMe to reduce data entry errors and improve manager engagement with HRIS functions. Integrations were a central element of the implementation, linking UKG Pro Onboarding to the HRIS environment and to the enterprise identity access management platform, with project work that overhauled the HRIS integration to improve data transmission speeds six fold. The program supported an upgrade of UltiPro Recruiting from Rec10 to Rec14 with data migration, guided integration of two additional operations systems into IAM, and ongoing IT troubleshooting for synchronization of employee data across HR, IAM, and recruiting systems. Governance and process changes accompanied the technical work, with standardized UAT practices, automation of reporting and compliance workflows, and participation in enterprise incident and continuity forums such as the Emergency Command Center Team. Outcomes called out by internal stakeholders included doubling the accuracy of voluntary disability data, more than a 30 percent reduction in data entry errors through JIT training, and over a 70 percent reduction in time to generate internal movement data for affirmative action plan reporting, improvements that materially shaped HR operational processes and compliance handling.
