A lithoseismic facies analysis module was used alongside attribute-driven workflows to delineate volcanic distributions in the Plover Formation. Well tie and impedance calibration routines integrated the well data with seismic-derived cubes for quality control and mapping. Integrations explicitly incorporated well data and well location calibration, and the workflow supported quality control of 20 phase 1 development wells for the Brewster Member. The Brewster Member is described as a shallower reservoir with 12.8 tcf of gas and 500 million barrels of condensate, while the Plover Formation was analyzed as the deeper target. The resulting volcanic presence and probability map was calibrated at well locations and consumed by the final geomodel iteration. Process changes included formalized QC workflows for seismic-to-well calibration and the use of attribute and inversion outputs to inform geomodel iterations. Governance extended across reservoir geophysics and subsurface modeling teams, aligning interpretation products with reservoir engineering and well planning inputs. PGS Geostreamer outputs were used to adjust well targeting strategies for subsequent drilling phases. The study produced a volcanic presence and probability map that informed the final geomodel iteration and resulted in a more realistic estimation of reserves. The seismic interpretation and attribute workflow using PGS Geostreamer contributed to optimization of future well locations targeting the Plover Formation. | |
