The initiative targeted rapid onboarding of the acquired entity onto NorthStar’s HR infrastructure while preserving operational continuity for HR and payroll functions across the organization. Tilson executed a streamlined, light touch project plan that focused on core human capital management capabilities typical of a Core HR deployment, including employee master data consolidation, onboarding workflows, benefits administration configuration, and payroll interface readiness. The project emphasized configuration economy and agility, with Tilson tailoring Vista HCM settings to NorthStar’s construction industry payroll and personnel structures and limiting custom development to essential conversion mappings. The engagement included targeted data conversion and system onboarding work, leveraging Tilson’s experience with both Spectrum and Vista to move and reconcile records into Viewpoint Vista HCM, and then provisioning the new entity on NorthStar’s platform. Operational coverage centered on HR and IT collaboration across the acquisition integration team, ensuring the new business unit ran on NorthStar’s established Vista environment with minimal disruption to site-level operations. Governance was a joint model, Tilson and NorthStar maintained open communication and iterative plan adjustments to manage scope and timelines, while NorthStar retained in-house subject matter involvement. The go-live completed on NorthStar’s platform with minimal interruptions and the engagement concluded under the allocated budget, demonstrating a constrained, collaboration-first rollout approach for Viewpoint Vista HCM in an M&A integration context.
