HSBC Banking and Financial Services 5836 $5.0B United Kingdom Genesys Genesys CCPulse Workforce Management 2016 n/a In 2016, HSBC implemented Genesys CCPulse as part of a broader Workforce Management deployment across its contact centres. The initiative ran alongside a migration from Aspect TDM to VoIP technologies and included deployment of Genesys SIP Server, GVP, Pulse, Feature Server, Orchestration Server, GMS and WFM components to support unified contact centre operations. Genesys CCPulse was configured to deliver standard Workforce Management capabilities including forecasting, scheduling and intraday management while integrating with orchestration and routing layers. Configuration work encompassed infrastructure builds, environment provisioning and tuning of pulse and WFM modules aligned to contact handling workflows, and business analysis to create call routing workflows for First Direct. The program covered multiple deployments and environments, including work carried out in Sheffield, United Kingdom, and extended to HSBC contact centres worldwide. Implementation activities included investigation and remediation of reported defects, securing connectivity between Genesys components to meet bank standards, and wireline to VoIP interoperability through the Genesys SIP Server and related servers. Delivery was executed by a specialist team from Genesys Professional Services and focused on embedding Genesys CCPulse into HSBC contact centre operations. Governance work prioritized connectivity validation, defect triage and operational handover to contact centre leadership, with CCPulse positioned as the central Workforce Management layer supporting routing and agent scheduling.
