Crediton Dairy | Consumer Packaged Goods | 180 | $95M | United Kingdom | SAP | SAP Business One Material Requirements Planning (MRP) | Inventory Management | 2016 | n/a | In 2016, Crediton Dairy implemented SAP Business One Material Requirements Planning (MRP) within a broader SAP S/4HANA foundation ERP engagement delivered by Atos. The deployment targeted Inventory Management capabilities to support material planning, stock control and procurement workflows for the business. The implementation included core MRP configuration and demand planning alongside SAP modules delivered as part of the S/4HANA foundation, specifically APO Demand Planning, Material Requirements Planning, Material Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Sales and Distribution and S/4HANA Finance. SAP Business One Material Requirements Planning (MRP) was configured to drive procurement proposals, planned orders and inventory replenishment logic while Fiori Apps were introduced initially for Purchase Orders to improve transactional user flows and prepare a platform for wider UX rollout. Operational integrations connected material planning to logistics and finance processes, creating a single source of data and enabling near real time period closing and flexible aggregation of financial and inventory information. The scope of the rollout covered Crediton Dairy operations in the United Kingdom and touched core business functions including logistics, warehouse operations, procurement and finance, aligning inventory planning with sales and distribution. Atos delivered the program within a six month delivery window and provided a five year, UK based application management service for ongoing support. The program produced documented business processes and templates aligned to best practice, enabled real time analytics and forecasting roadmaps, and delivered explicit outcomes reported by the customer including a reliable single source of data, faster period closing, initial Fiori procurement apps and a platform for future forecasting and scenario analysis. | |
