LEO Pharma Life Sciences 6000 $1.5B Denmark Certara Certara D360 Laboratory Management 2020 n/a In 2020, LEO Pharma changed its research data portal to Certara D360, a Laboratory Management application, as part of its research informatics stack supporting Research and CMC domains. The implementation emphasized centralized query and form functionality to improve structured data capture and query-driven access to experimental records within the research data portal. The Certara D360 deployment at LEO Pharma included hands-on Query/Form building and system testing, with configuration work focused on query/browse interfaces and form-based data entry aligned to laboratory workflows. The implementation leveraged configurable data model elements and UI form design to support cross-domain experimental records and analytics-ready metadata, reflecting typical Laboratory Management capabilities such as structured sample and result capture, searchable records, and governed data schemas. Operational ownership rested with internal system managers and data managers who coordinated closely with Global IT and external vendors on technical issues and testing activities. End user training covered Research and CMC business functions and the rollout workstreams included documented user requirements specification, test execution, and preparation of training materials to ensure adoption across research teams. Governance for the Certara D360 implementation included requirements gathering and URS authoring, formal test documentation and validation of Query/Form functionality, and ongoing data stewardship responsibilities for data quality and compliance. System administration and functional support roles within LEO Pharma maintained the Certara D360 environment and supported cross-functional collaborations between research scientists, IT, and vendor teams.
